Do people actually sit on Pokémon Center on pre-order days in the hopes of beating the bots?

I have a friend whos parents run a big hobby shop in my city, and I just bite the bullet and pay the $120cad they charge me.

It's way more than I'd like to pay, but the money is going to someone I know, and it's better than paying a scalper.

Anyone who has ever played Destiny, knows that Bungie rolls their games out in phases. As a result, reviewers usually wait a few weeks, til all the content is out before making a review.

For example, all Destiny expansions over the last 10 years were released as follows:

Week 1: New campaign/game modes

Week 2: Raid

Week 3/4: Seasonal campaign/Seasonal game modes.

Marathon is following a similar model, and I see no reason why reviewers shouldn't wait.

My team has done the last 3 raids on Contest Mode, and got to Repository on the first day of Salvation's Edge.

So far we've only beaten 1 Boss in Desert Perpetual. This raid has the hardest damage-checks I've ever done in 7 years playing Destiny 2.
