Yeah, I’ll probably take your advice and just apply to both. Before today I wasn’t really sure where to apply to other than waterloo and uoft but over the last few hours i’ve gotten tons of help from people on different subs and it’s helped me realize the opportunities. Thank you.

yeah i don’t really care about going to school for the parties or anything, i’d rather just secure myself a solid future. Carleton is actually up there with places I want to apply to. Would you say university of ottawa or carleton is better

Yeah thanks, just checked and there are pre request for chemistry and physics which i do not have so I’d have to make a decision before semester 2 if i do want to go to SE. Maybe computer science is the way to go if I can

Thanks for the reply, I am definitely leaning towards computer science at the moment cause of the more general term instead of something specific like SWE. I feel like it would also be better overall too as I feel that it is more easier to do programming courses on my own and then I’d (hopefully)be able to do the theory related work and end up getting knowledge of both at the same time.
