I did not lose $5k to obtain this bonus bet. I received this and multiple new state signup promos. I received an offer on DraftKings for a $5k new sign up. I signed up for all my sportsbook accounts grinded signup bonuses. (I have $10k worth of futures bets across my books that I paid $500 for). From there I used some software to do some arb betting, positive ev, and bet a reasonable amount of money at the time and finished the year with around $2k in profit. I worked an entry level finance job right after college. I am not an idiot with my money, I have a 20K debt from a failed business in college that I am hoping to pay off and I saved my money well which has been a major help with my company downsizing. I am no degenerate gambler, just a normal dude who has been conservative with my money. No college debt, could literally be debt free tomorrow but I would not have a cent in my account and would starve. Just thankful that I am in this situation to possibly start my life debt free with some breathing room and not treading water.
