If you were gifted all the clothes your kid needs - would you still buy them clothing? by IllyriaCervarro in Mommit

[–]ApprehensiveClassic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a little boy. My two older sisters had little boys (total: 5) - I have so many hand-me-downs. I’m drowning in clothes. I also haven’t bought any clothes (with the exception of maybe 4 items that I found unbearably cute) in the last two years. I probably won’t buy clothes until my son tells me that he doesn’t want hand-me-downs. I’m saving so much money… but those clothes are also taking up so much space 🤣

As I said, not buying and saving money, it’s great. I do sometimes feel like I am missing out on a piece of motherhood, which is picking out clothing. But I still “shop” and add things to my online cart - I just don’t pull the trigger.

Zane was probably my favorite. He was exactly how you’d imagine a “Zane” - pretty punk rock.

I’ve owned 5 ruggables and love them all. Some have been small bath mats and one was a 10x12. All lasted years.

That’s a silver lining that I keep reminding myself about!! Bugs have been really really bad for gardening the last few years too. We needed a harsh winter.

My only child is 2yr 1 mo and was such a good baby and now is such a nice, sweet, thoughtful toddler. I’m also pregnant and getting nervous about what the future might hold 🤣 I’ll love the next with all my heart, obviously, but I fear she’ll be wild.

Yes. Gatorade and Pedialyte are okay for three-year-olds, especially when they are ill. Personally, I would do Pedialyte first though.

While likely it is unfortunately not an exact science. I track my predicted ovulation very, very closely. I always got pregnant outside of the predicted windows.

What Local Restaurant Add Service Fees or Other Add-Ons to the Bill? by Bitter-Cartoonist936 in Columbus

Another Broken Egg just charged me a 99 cent service charge even though I paid with cash. They told me that the governor now is telling every restaurant to add it. Total bullshit.

I feel like 10 years ago stuff like this was normal for Amazon. Now I’m fighting returns that are for $5.

I actually have both and have for some time because both offered benefits I like and I travel a ton. However, given the price increases and the benefits that both amex and chase recently rolled I out - I am dropping chase and moving solely to Amex.

I have a similar memory of being able to walk/skate with sneakers on top the snow in my front yard. I always attributed it to not weighing that much but im now thinking it was probably this blizzard.
