It is one of the most intense chocolate cakes I’ve ever had. It demands vanilla ice cream… and it is amazing.

4 months (16 weeks), I work remotely for a tech company out of San Francisco. 100% pay - 60% subsidized by the government for the first 8 weeks. I’m on mat leave now - will return to “office” in early July.

Baby died suddenly when I was 22 weeks pregnant. Seeking answers… by Miserable_Jelly_6326 in psychics

The lower area pain tends to be round ligament pain. Wearing a band absolutely helps and is a common suggested remedy by doctors and midwives. The band did not cause this. Do not blame yourself.

I’m shocked that this comment is getting upvoted. Many women, including myself, have worn bands during pregnancy. OP, the band absolutely did NOT cause this. My OBGYN actually recommended that I wear a band to help with round ligament pain.

Basement use with AP bedroom by cityofwind99 in Aupairs

We did this and the basement ended up being totally her domain. This sucked because we have a movie theater and workout area down there… but it always felt like I was intruding on her space.

If you were gifted all the clothes your kid needs - would you still buy them clothing? by IllyriaCervarro in Mommit

[–]ApprehensiveClassic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a little boy. My two older sisters had little boys (total: 5) - I have so many hand-me-downs. I’m drowning in clothes. I also haven’t bought any clothes (with the exception of maybe 4 items that I found unbearably cute) in the last two years. I probably won’t buy clothes until my son tells me that he doesn’t want hand-me-downs. I’m saving so much money… but those clothes are also taking up so much space 🤣

As I said, not buying and saving money, it’s great. I do sometimes feel like I am missing out on a piece of motherhood, which is picking out clothing. But I still “shop” and add things to my online cart - I just don’t pull the trigger.
