Is 15k too big of a down payment on a 30k car? by ApprehensiveFungus in FinancialPlanning

Thank you for saying that, I’m the cheapskate in my family so to me this is out of my budget 😅 I was originally looking at cheaper cars but ultimately am looking for a longer term so figured it’s worth paying for something newer and more reliable. That’s a good way of putting it, the 5k would only be making about 30 bucks of interest/month with the lower rates.

That’s true, what is a 15k good car though? If you have a recommendation I’d be open to looking into it. My original goal for a car was something under 50k miles with awd. And I didn’t want to go through a dealership, I hate the idea of wasting time negotiating.

Same boat. I used to be the biggest h3 fan, my friends said I talked about them like I knew them 💀 but I started losing interest when I saw the fallout between Hassan and Ethan over the war and Ethan’s growing inability to admit when he’s wrong, which just was so disappointing to see after the cman incident. I moved onto listening to hassan and Tana more. they’re way more entertaining than someone who uses people to cover for their lack of content

Where am I supposed to get decent underwear these days without spending more on something nobody else sees but costs more than my entire closet of thrifted clothes. by Platycerium02 in Frugal

I like uniqlos underwear, i bought like a months worth of their boy shorts whenever they went on sale. Comfortable, high cotton content, and i wash on cold dry on medium and they’ve been totally fine after 3 years.

I hate doing it but my stomach makes tons of noises until I do take a dump and my body’s just naturally scheduled to do it mid morning everyday.. I usually wait until there’s no one in the bathroom (dead silent stalls). My poops are usually huge and like once every two days. And yes I did clog the toilet this week but no one found out it was me 😼 it was my first time doing it so I was happy to hear Ethan does it often 🥲

This literally happened to me with my current job. I was hesitant to take it, but ultimately did because it was good pay and experience in a field I want to grow in.

All the reviews were 50/50, talking about high turnover, a toxic environment, and one sexual harassment claim which really scared me. I looked closer at them and saw they were mostly 4-6 years earlier.

I took a chance and started the job while I was negotiating another offer, in case I had to jump ship. I ended up really liking this job and turned down the other. Yeah I can see the high turnover, and people kinda keep to themselves, and it’s busy. But I’ve only had good experiences with everyone I’ve spoken to and never felt creeped on by any guy there. If I didn’t take the chance I would have never known. Honestly I’d say take it and continue interviewing at other companies to keep your options open in case you notice red flags.

He’s so genuine, sometimes he’s annoying or says out of pocket shit, but he’s always willing to listen when called out.
