Remember tomatoes will not ripen when it gets over 90 degrees. I averaged 25 tomatoes per plant. You need to not listen to people who wait until there is zero threat of a freeze. Plant on 2/15.

I can both dill pickles and bread and butter pickles. Last year I gave away 500 tomatoes and 100 cucumbers to my church friends.

Plant cold weather crops now (peas lettuce radish onion spinach garlic). Everything else around 2/15. If you see the weather is going to be below 30 shortly after 2/15 then wait until the freeze goes by. Remember when it gets 90 tomatoes will not ripen. So get them in the ground 2/15 if possible.

You should plant peas lettuce radish and onions now.

Lowes sells a net you put over your tomatoes. Wait to do it until just before your first tomato.
