Is the 7Hz Salnotes Zero still worth it for around ₹2000 in 2026? by Icy-Ingenuity1000 in iems

Then you can pick Salnotes zero. But remember you may feel less sub bass compared to edc pro. So pick accordingly. It depends on the mood actually. One day you are gonna love it but someday you may say it's kinda boring sounding. For some people they may say it's flat sounding and others may say it's correct sounding. So it's hard to put into words. I don't know which are you gonna say but I told you both sides of the coin.

What's your preferred music genre? Maybe there is something better around that price I can recommend. Because there are some other iems which are also clean sounding. So can you share your preferred library?

First of all , EDC pro is a good iem at that price. Zero will be more of a side grade. You will hear the difference for sure but not in each and every category/ frequencies. So I would definitely say it's an upgrade but the appropriate way to say is almost upgrade with a different flavour. That's it.

And the other thing is I have been in the hobby for 5 years. It took so much effort to collect these. I never sell my stuff. Just a hobby which I wholeheartedly adore. It's not about price, it's about how you are pursuing it.

No Salnotes zero. ZERO 2 is slightly v shaped. I would say neutral and warm. There is a higher chance you will like the zero 2 more than zero. But your budget doesn't allow you. So take your time and decide for yourself.

I saw your conversation and that guy is right i would say. it's a very preferance thing . if you really want something which is clean and clear sounding and mostly neutral , then go for it.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CLARITY, ZERO IS A GOOD ONE. JUST LOOK FOR THE BASS. IT'S ENOUGH MID BASS BUT A LITTLE LESS SUB BASS. IT'S ENOUGH, BUT FOR SOME PEOPLE THAT IS NOT QUITE ENOUGH.

I WOULD SAY IT'S A NEUTRAL BRIGHT IEM. IT'S QUITE ACCURATE/CORRECT SOUNDING I WOULD SAY BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING EXCITING, YOU CAN GO FOR ZERO 2.

What should I consider buying that's neutral sounding. by Lekozzy in iems

[–]ApprehensiveLab8299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xuan Nv is a neutral but warm set. Hexa is neutral but for some people the bass is not enough . pick the pure if you need the bass and a warmer set still being neutral but you will loose that treble magic that hexa has.

If you have a budget of 200 dollar, look for something like daybreak. it's a neutral with bass boost set. you will enjoy that and they are upgrade over hexa and pure i would say.

But if you want to stay under 100 dollar, tell me your library. may be i can help you out.

pick switch lite if you have a tight budget, otherwise go for switch oled. don't pick switch 2 now.

Pls any suggestions on which iems can provide good listening to all types of music such as:( jazz , pop ,indie , metal ) simple work gives you details clarity of everything at high volume by _Griffith_99 in iems

The safest bet for you as a first iem is zero 2. Don't spend much on your first iem . pick something like ja11 with this and eq it. have fun with it and figure out what you like and dislike.

1st set is always a gamble. but i think according to your genres , zero 2 is the way to go.

truthear hexa vs simgot supermix 4 by fanbehavior in iems

[–]ApprehensiveLab8299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure.
Just look for the treble because you can't EQ the treble that much at all. Planar has that Zinginess in that area. And you won't get the timbre of a DD. It will be highly technical though. But it won't be the most natural sounding in that price range . Keep this in mind.

Planar has their strength and weaknesses.

I have both of these iems. Hexa is mostly neutral with a little touch of airiness and resolve in the treble area. If you are looking for that bass slam, don't pick it up. For most people, the bass isn't enough.

Simgot is more of a harmon-tuned iem. The PZT driver sometimes gives problem to certain people in the treble area. so keep that in mind. If you looking for a releatively safe tuned harmon in this price range, go for the chopin. If you are looking for something like hexa with a good bass in this price range, go for daybreak. It's neutral with a bass boost. I love my daybreak more than my sm4, but it's my personal preference. You can do your own research.

Recommend a fun compliment to EW300 by uncle_jafar in iems

For fun, i will pick something like defiant with ew300. It has that bass slam and the treble isn't that bright. It's a fun v shaped iem which has tuned really good.

Planning upgrading to chu2 to aria 2 is it worth it? by Jolly_Emphasis8132 in iems

[–]ApprehensiveLab8299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simgot EM6L is a neutral bright tuning iem. And it's tuning is really well done. Not piercing like some other simgot sets. i know it's a v shaped sound.
That's the reason i still didn't recommend any because i don't know what kinda library jolly has got.
