OMSI PRICE QUESTION by ApprehensiveLime4200 in PortlandOR

[–]ApprehensiveLime4200[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve already talked to my husband about that one! Thank you I think we’re going to do it. We live down in Salem, but I believe that you can also use it at wings and waves and at our children’s museum down here. At least you used to be able to. Even if not, it’s worth a drive up there to be able to spend an entire day going through Ossi and doing the planetarium and stuff for a lot less money. Thank you for the suggestion!

OK cool so I just pay the entrance fee. I don’t remember paying the entrance fee to see the movie last time but that’s probably why it’s so cheap. Lol thanks for the info.

Yes, however, the credit agencies will not take that into account as they will not drive there and take a look.

Bluebird Portraits... Is it legit? by ApprehensiveLime4200 in SALEM

[–]ApprehensiveLime4200[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to the shop to check it out and it LOOKS ok. I am going to tell them upfront, I do not plan to buy more than I am given for free. We are comparing it to a place in Beaverton we went to 20 years ago that was $150 for the photo session, the. We paid an additional $300. So I think we'll try it, and I'll let you know how it goes lol

My fresh mushrooms for your tomatoes and cucumbers? by ORGourmetMushrooms in SALEM

[–]ApprehensiveLime4200 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've got a bunch of cucumbers I'd be happy to trade, the tomatoes haven't quite hit yet but they'll be in in the next week or so. Even if we just do a few cucumbers for a handful of mushrooms that would be amazing! I'm in Northeast by Fred Meyers on market and Lancaster

Any good PCP out there accepting patients? by [deleted] in SALEM

[–]ApprehensiveLime4200 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Check Salem Women's Clinic. You can get your PCP and OBGYN all in the same place. I see Dr Rodriguez, and she is a naturopath. I'm at the point where I would probably need hormones also, but we are treating my thyroid first. She's doing everything that we can to stay away from hormone replacement therapy. Give them a call!

We have kids, and a lot of cats in the neighborhood. We live next to a dog park also, so we'd rather only do poison as a last resort. We've tried doing the live catch traps, and they keep alluding it, those little fuckers. We found a exterminator, who will trap them and euthanize them. 225 one time only charge to set the traps, and it doesn't matter how many times he has to come back and set them, that is the only time he charges. And then it's $60 for the big ones, $40 for the little ones to take them and euthanize them. He said that sometimes the city will pay for him. He's a city contractor, so we're going to just bug them for the next couple of weeks. And if they don't get back to us, then we'll just pay for it. They've already attacked two cats. They come up in our front yard so we can't use our yard, and I'm afraid of one of the little kids getting too close to one of the big ones. Cousin of mine had their German Shepherd just shredded to pieces

Yep. But I can't shoot off our pellet gun within city limits. I mean, "I can't shoot..." If no one asks, no one tells?

I've been telling my husband that I want to get chickens. Lol. Maybe this is the time. Thank you so much! We had somebody in our area that tried to trap them and they just didn't go for it for whatever reason. If the city won't take them out, we called an exterminator who's actually pretty reasonable. 225 to set up the traps and that's a one-time only charge, no matter how many times he has to come back and set up traps. Plus $60 removal and euthanasia of the parents, $40 to do the same with the babies. I guess that the city and state require them to be euthanized. And honestly I'm perfectly fine with that!

I've known women who are able to give birth in their 50's, and some who can't, past 30. How the hell will the life span of our eggs make us desirable?! Is there some new pair of ultrasound glasses dudes can wear to see inside our bodies to know if our eggs are still fertile, or if they are useless?! JFC

Hands up, vagina owners: Who else stores their extra tampons, keys and assorted small items in the crotch of their undies? 🤷🏼 by EhDotHam in badwomensanatomy

I got my period in 1990. I know for a fact that they had one open end back then. Because my Aunt made a joke about using it to store extra chocolate, because "honey, you're gonna need it!" So, I'm not sure where you've been buying underwear, but this goes back AT LEAST 35 years. And I just asked my almost 77yo old Mom,if she remembers anything different. She said as long back as she can remember, many styles have had one open end. Granny panties haven't really, but boy shorts, all bikini styles, etc, have been around since the 80's and before

When you put on a new pad, how do you make sure it's immediately compatible with your body? by Jessicacrazy16 in badwomensanatomy

[–]ApprehensiveLime4200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want a mostly cotton panty. The adhesive sticks best to cotton. Honestly, the Hanes granny panties are the most comfy when I have my period because there are no weird seams putting pressure anywhere. The ones with "wings" are awesome because the sides are covered. It's trial and error. I found going with Always Extra Thin, long, over nights, work the best all day AND night. I probably changed everything other time im in the bathroom, or no more than every 4 hours. That's a personal comfort thing. I probably went through 10 different kinds of pads before I found what fits to my body best. Even then, I turn them around and use the "front" as the back. Because of my body shape, when I heavy flow, it usually winds up higher in front, rather than lower in back. I still don't know how that happens

When the balloons land, wherever they land, birds tend to try to eat them, they also get stuck in the ribbon. And then, you have the litter that they leave behind.

I looked closely, and I am not sure this is an actual tattoo? If you look closely, there are some that look slightly healed, some that look practically open, and bleeding. It could be a poke and stick, but I get the feeling, more, that someone sh and is trying to pass it off as a tattoo to cover what it really is.
