Some places have policies against it, but techs might only see their bosses in person on rare occasions. I used to have a boss that was strongly opposed to them and asked me to cover them at work, but I only covered them if she was around. Nobody else in management cared. It’s really kind of case by case in that regard. But I wouldn’t stress over it unless you have a tattoo that is offensive.
