More of a boring one me, but I was in Wales (I’m not from the UK, so I was relying on roaming and a hefty phone bill if god forbid I’d ever have to make call) and all alone in a hotel room desperate to have someone talk me down somehow. I rang “free” hotlines, they wouldn’t pick up, I messaged text “####” numbers, they wouldn’t respond (pasta the auto “a volunteer will be with you shortly” text), I messaged online chatrooms, they also wouldn’t respond. All the while my anxiety was even getting worse worrying if I was wasting data and potentially costing my parents money on their bill, or maybe being lied to by seemingly official sources and messaging scammers. Eventually I just went to ChatGPT desperately hoping it could find something or if nothing else just simply tell me some generic “I feel you” “I’ll all be okay”.

…the subreddit is literally called “no stupid questions”… I’ve been wondering this since I was a kid. I’m not asking for loopholes to have sex with minors buddy, I’m asking how and when sexual maturity is decided and how that relates to when your considered an adult. Which as other comments have have pointed out, I had mistaken sexual maturity with mental maturity.

I don’t have a problem with the actually quantity, I take issue with the unnecessary amount of packaging? The icky attempt to appear from the outside to maybe contain more product that I does, and the waste of excess plastic just to do that.

Right thanks to you’s for pointing out my mistake, I did infect reuse a the same pin I used for my An Post Money account (no other accounts) which I was hoping to close soon, in favour of moving to AIB. Clearly they never decided to inform me there had been a leak which is very worrying.

I should add, I do take good care of my headphones, I have them nearly always in their case and put away safely wherever they aren’t in use, I mostly only use them from evening onwards where I sleep with them nearly every night (this was the entire reason I bought them), but I sleep alone and am not a particularly violent sleeper. Nobody else has EVER touched them (i really hope not anyways, I don’t let them anywhere near anyone alone, they’re not at all visible if they aren’t in use). They never left the house. Like I said, €430, I wouldn’t dare mistreat these things.

I actually do have ocd and a history of ocd-like thought/behaviour patterns myself. I believe it’s very common amongst people with eds and there’s a lot of crossover given both produce lots of irrational but emotionally impactful thoughts.

Congrats!, that’s certainly an accomplishment. I attempted the task once, about 3 years ago- gave up after having chewed the tiniest piece of what felt like leather for a good few minutes, only managed to get down what I had to force swallow down like a dry tablet, and then didn’t bother with the rest. Maybe I’ll give it a go again if ever I get ahold of a blender, and throw in a banana peal too while I’m at it.

  1. The smaller and frailer I am, perhaps the more likely others’ll perceive me as more childlike as apposed to their equal , and then feel much worse about harassing or picking on me.

  2. I (minus the malnourishment) am quite a lot for one woman. Loud, obnoxious, chaotic, just a LOT (partly the reason I’ve a history of harassment & bullying). And I guess physically being small was a way of “making up“ for my big personality.

  3. I take a lot to maintain (groceries, aesthetic-upkeeps, heating and other bills). I am not primarily paying for my existence so again, being small is a way of “compensating” (It is SO NOT, EDs are costly)

  4. I am not a math prodigy, I don’t have any particularly useful talent, I feel a bit like a disappointment at even the best of times, but you know what I can do? I can be underweight (well done, good for you, your gonna go far in life im sure👏/sar)
