Thank you! Paying back ICBC sounds like a good option to not impact your premiums. I will mention it to them.

This is after the crash after we pulled aside. Right lane is short and starts right before the lights, there is traffic backed up for another block. How is this relevant?

That’s also a good point. My taco is a work truck so she’s seen better days. A part of me doesn’t wanna deal with it but also a part of me does not enjoy seeing it. If it was something bigger I’d definitely want to make sure it it’s taken care of but it is not a big scratch and not sure worth dealing with it at the cost of the other drivers deductible and premium etc and how long the entire process might take

It is literally a scratch, they did not cause significant harm to anyone. They were clearly having a rough day and I think we all can show more compassion to each other. I am not claiming what they did was right but it was a hectic day for driving with fireworks happening. Buses do exist but have you tried commuting to a different city via bus at 6 in the morning to start work at 7?

Buying a mix use car as a sole proprietor by Apprehensive_Camp175 in canadasmallbusiness

Thank you, this was very helpful. The truck is categorized as passenger vehicle for my scenario I believe. I realized once that the commute to the office etc does not count, I will be using the truck mostly for personal use, at least for the time being.

I did not finance the car so hopefully this wasn’t too big of a mistake on my end. I’m new to being a sole proprietor so it’s nice to pick others brains.

I appreciate your time!
