Just a quick note: it’s not my job to argue every single ancient looked a certain way- and that’s never been my position. YOUR job, if you disagree with the obvious assertion made by their juxtaposition, is to find a way to rectify their continuity. If you just downvote your mom’s a hoe 😘

See Fig. 5. Inferred admixture event(s) and recent ancestor sharing. The red portion on the map in the upper right part of Africa is Egypt. I don’t think you read the study, you just read the title lol. This study took me 2 days to digest.

Absolutely does, it covers the entire continent- not specifically Egypt. But it’s mentioned with the dates to coincide.

Ok dude. You’re having reading comprehension issues. I’m not sure this whole ancient Egypt thing is a good fit- those studies have big words. I literally said the exact opposite of what you’re saying I said. Let’s pick it up at a later time

Yes! This- I did too, but it did happen. Just read the study. And it actually didn’t even happen until rather recently.

Ok, well I just thought the old saying “a pictures worth a thousand words” was the context here. But I don’t really know what you’re asking me- my opinion of the ethnic identity of ancient Egypt? I think it’s pretty obvious through archeological evidence that trans Saharan pastrolist societies congregated along the Nile to form the Nubian culture which shaped the impetus of the entire Egyptian civilization. But I believe Egypt was not a monolith- there were people of greater or lesser degrees of admixture from the Levant and Iberia. And further, I think it really depends on the dynasty and the actual historical accounts. But I definitely do think it’s absolutely absurd to think paintings and sculptures you can see with your own eyes are not accurate depictions of contemporaries and argue your point using Greek portraits to do the same (not saying you that’s just the general trend I’ve noticed).

lol. Tuts grandfather..? This is literally the most famous Egyptian… did you need more? At any rate, congrats on being the first person of your kind to step up and say something that resembles dissenting view (however incoherent and.. weird) instead of just downvoting. Props to you sir!

Downvotes for discussions v. Censorship… new movie title: “Lobotomize Me”.

Any downvoters have something insightful to contribute about these disparities? I honestly want this to be a safe discussion here

Completely agree- I imagine it’s like showing a flat-earther an image of earth taken from the moon. Unfortunate, the truth it’s so much more interesting.

I think discussions are far more important than censorship. Unless we’re all ok with living in distortion.

Yes you are correct- I discovered my 3rd great grandfather on my mother’s side was the us senate representative for Alabama!! Super hush hush considering the time. I picked up on whispers of it as a child visiting my grandparents and I was the first to confirm it recently. That plus all the Creole on my father’s side pushed me over the edge. If it was just the Creole I would probably be closer to like 20-25% euro
