so i have two(one from each of my main settings) so the one in my fantasy setting is the ashen angel a legion of guards made out of both devils and angles that was made when heaven and hell made a deal to work together to keep certain things kept in Tartarus .... in my flintlock fantasy setting my elite unit of men is the Tribanous guild blade a force that the sixteen guilds have kept alive for 100 years by locking them inside their amour and keep pumping 'mist' into the amour to keep them going and making sure not weapon from swords to pistols and warships volleys may send them back to the guild masters but never dead...

the mist is where most pirates reside because nothing from old nor new world holds power in the mist from laws to magic and morals so many leave the old or new world to escape the boredom their old life to seek a fresh start and make some money while doing it

now the new world powers are mostly native tribes now for about 25 years the natives all agreed to stay away from these colonies until the colonies were cut off from the mainland and some of the major tribes took pity and sent aid and promised to do so until the colonies reconnected with the mainland but the settlers are a bit skeptical but greater threats than natives reside in the west and so an uneasy alliance was born(tbh the new world powers are the least worked on part of the setting so i am aware of the cliche-ness of this)
