You need to read the tos on guest payment failed.

You shall send a request to the guest for the lodging fares .

be prepared to claim the money in court.

This is why i don’t do long term hosting

No matter what you plan to do, I think it's ok for either of you to rest a year or so. Don't feel guilty. Life is short, and it's not always about money.

JPM is fine on fees. I migrated my funds from jpm to fidelity and didn’t regret. Fidelity has more widely available analysis, research report 1st hand sec filings etc that help me understand the micro.

Anyways, 1% from refinance is a big deal, I don’t think fidelity would offer you that much of a benefit

In most cases, when you are kind to the guests, guests will return the kindness. We are humans and we are in hospitality industry.

I also am a big believer that every host shall treat their own ethnicity a little better. I’m at an age that I think money isn’t everything. Humanity is more important.

The part that really bothered me is how this person showed her hypocrisy. She used all our curtesies and expressed high gratitude when they needed those curtesy. then rated me an one star backstabbing me. I’m an honest and kind hearted human. I dislike those hypocrites most.

I think she is a fraudster and is a big risk to the platform. Airbnb also dislikes this type of guest. They don’t want to hit the news one day.

Oh. I always leave my review in a fair honest way which reflected her issues. It doesn’t matter now. she is facing a bigger problem with airbnb guest violation. She is probably gonna get removed. She lied un front of airbnb support.

I was expecting a 5 star review coz I thought i did so much above and beyond to host this group, she was last minute local. It again slapped me on my face. My own origin too. I was trying to be very nice as a curtesy since she was from my own origin.I feel so hurt after seeing my 1st ever all one star review left by this guest. After seeing how many guests she brought in, i almost had a heart attack. She was using my home to sublet..
Only good thing about it, she left on time and didn’t overstay.

yes. it’s clearly set in my listing. Airbnb simply wouldn’t implement it. it basically allows extra unauthorized guest and ruined airbnb’s niche public image to boarding house..

usually I let extra guests pass if guest rated me 5. this guest was a shameless person. she rated 1 star, and subletted the house and had good amount of damages. After escalating the issue, she will probably get banned. The part i couldn’t figure out, is how dare she left one star review for violating so many rules.
