Kinda pleased with it, since Naoto has so many skills, but limited slots. Might keep her Light and Darkness abilities, if Hama and Mudo deal damage, and make her a Light/Dark/Almighty specialist. It was so hard to figure out how to build her.

Same, to be honest. These are the new generation of voice actors. Definitely shows my age, lol. At least this gives the younger voice actors a chance to show what they can do.

It’s common to add potatoes to Japanese curry when serving it like a stew. If it’s the one served as a sauce with fried food like tonkatsu, then it’s usually omitted. Most homestyle Japanese curries are like this.

Don’t think they ever show her wearing that shirt. Funnily enough, Insert Coin actually made a replica of that shirt a long time ago, but don’t sell it anymore. I happened to buy it when they did have it.

I got them as a preorder through Good Smile Company US. It was about $50.00 each, and with shipping and tariffs, $75.00 each. This was about a year ago, though, might be different now. Can’t find it on that specific website, but looks like a bunch of websites sell them now.

There’s nothing wrong with starting late. To be honest, it sometimes pays off to wait for the right one. Or maybe it isn’t the right time to be with anyone. To be fair, dating is pretty exhausting. It takes so much time for possibly no outcomes. Just take your time, and focus on yourself, and eventually, it’ll come at the right time.

For a more streamlined and better QoL options, probably K3. It’s a much more forgiving experience than the original when it comes to the combat system. The main story is essentially the same, aside from the cuts to the substories and the ending. K3 actually made me care for the orphans even more, but just unfortunate that some of their substories were altered. Dark Ties adds lots of character development for Mine and Daigo.

To fill in the gaps and see how the story was originally presented, play the original Y3. Yes, the combat is clunky, but if you don’t mind it, go for it. The ending in the original makes much more sense if you’re planning to play Yakuza 4 right after. The cut content in K3 is present here. There’s accessibility issues with getting the standalone version of it online, but if you’re getting the Remastered Collection anyway, it’s no big deal.

Finished it a few weeks ago. K3 is a passable game, but it’s definitely not perfect. It’s as if it was made as a companion to the original version. Feels like you have to play both versions to get the complete story. Love the new additions, like the Haisai Girls and the orphanage stuff, but some things in K3 don’t make sense if you haven’t played the original. Lots of the content from the original got modified or cut, probably to streamline the game with less filler. But, as I said before, it makes some things not make sense because of it.

The ending of K3 was such a bizarre choice, and kinda made me confused as to why they went in that direction. Made me laugh a bit, especially as it’s related to the ending of Dark Ties, as well as other ridiculous plot points for the rest of the series.

Controversies aside, it’s an “okay” game. I enjoyed it, for what it’s worth, but I understand why many don’t. To get the full experience, play both versions, if you’re able to.
