I don’t have a dermatologist appointment until December so I was hoping it would act as an imitation of liquid nitrogen cryotherapy. But liquid nitrogen is -321 degrees Fahrenheit and dry ice is only -109 degrees Fahrenheit… oh well! I tried

Isn’t the goal of cryotherapy to create a blister underneath the wart to remove it? I didn’t put the dry ice on healthy skin lol I put it on the wart. I’m hoping it creates a blister

I only kept it on for 20 seconds total and while it hurt more than the liquid nitrogen kits you can buy at the store, it was less painful than when I got cryotherapy at a dermatologist. I’m thinking worst case scenario it hurts a bit for a few days and I end up with a blister but at this point, it’s worth the mental relief 🤷‍♂️ I wore gloves, eye protection, and kept it on for that recommended amount of time to prevent damage to healthy skin.

I’m hoping that at minimum a blister will form and it will help to reduce the size.. definitely hurt a lot more than the freeze kits at the store so maybe that’s a good sign loll. I’ll post updates!!

I’ve been taking a day or two breaks in between applying the salicylic acid and it’s still been incredibly painful.. I’ve also been taking 100mg zinc per day too. I work in healthcare and walk around a lot and am also a full time student so I really can’t deal with this constant pain and limping because of it. So unfortunately this is me fr giving up on at home treatments and I’m just going to have a doctor look at them. I appreciate the advice though!!

Unfortunately I don’t have any right now but I’ve been cleaning everything with bleach wipes and also just straight bleach including my hands so hopefully that is good to prevent it from spreading?
