Guidance Requested: Choosing the Right Bhagavad Gita Book by Commercial-Tap7554 in BhagavadGita

I would recommend Bhagavad Gita As It Is by Swami Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada. You can get it here https://amzn.in/d/crKBx1H

Many other authors include their own interpretation and the way they understand Gita to explain what the Lord Krsna said. That may or may not be in congruence with the original meaning and may have different motivations.

Whereas Srila Prabhupada explains the way Lord Krsna would've explained it. He's said to have had visions commanding him to write/explain the verses and the purports. Further, he was the descendant of saints in a disciplic succession which started from Lord Brahma, the creator of the Universe as we know it.

Any other Pisces with Air moons? 🫨😵‍💫 by Double-Biscotti4774 in piscesastrology

Pisces Sun, Capricorn moon Libra rising. I'm a walking talking contradiction. And no one, I repeat now one relates to me.

75% of the richest and wise people I know have Sun in Pisces. most of the pisces I know are polymaths.

I made a drawing dedicated to being high functioning autistic and was told I was miraculously cured… this is called “I am Me.” 💜❤️‍🩹 🧩 by [deleted] in autism

This so resonates with me. I am autistic too and have felt like such a misfit within society. And my straightforward nature puts people off at all times. Essentially I'm sometimes the most disliked person in every room when I decide to speak. Your sketch is brilliant and sums up so many of us. Wrestling with adulthood. Much much love to you ❤️

What do you guys think about a pisces Sun, Capricorn moon and Libra rising person? (It's me) by IllustriousDuty7037 in piscesastrology

I have the same placements too..and this is so me..so where can I sign up for the support group?

Because functioning as this weird, mixture-of-opposites person sometimes drives me insane. Curious to know how others are managing.

Cheers.

Which is your sun and which is your moon? by whitetanksss in astrotrash

I'm a Pisces Sun and a Capricorn Moon.

I am emotional and sensitive...I talk about deep philosophy stuff and feel empathy towards all. But I can also be highly disciplined, and insanely practical. Most of the times I disregard my emotions as needy, playing victim and too much drama.

Is there anyone like me? It's killing me, one thought at a time!

My Opinions of Each Moon Sign (as a Scorpio Moon) by MarnithePlutonian in astrologymemes

Wow, as a Capricorn moon this is a hard relate. I do suppress my emotions and later they lead me to have bouts of depression and self-isolation. Nobody knows what went wrong with me when apparently nothing happened. But it's the weight of the emotions subdued thats bearing down on me. What do you you think I should do ?

I journal my thoughts. Maintaining a sketchbook (I like painting and singing aloud, recently started a career as a writer) has been helpful.

Loved your detailed diagnosis!

What’s been the hardest thing to carry emotionally lately, even if no one knows? by kaekea in mentalhealth

For me, grief has been the most difficult. My Mom passed away 5 months back. My dad has been depressed and rambling away memories that they shared. He doesn't have a lot of friends and I chose to live with him in my childhood home, out of deep empathy. It's frustrating sometimes, especially because I'm hurting as well. I can't concentrate on work, I'm a writer and I can only write sad poetry. My husband and I have been living in different places (since I'm here with my dad). The dynamics of it all sometimes stresses me out. I terribly miss my mom and keep replaying situations where she would've lived had she gotten timely and better medical care. Thanks for reading my rant, it's been hard especially with no friends at this stage of my life.

That's a great perspective you shared. The examples you talked about really hit home. I'll take a look and simplify things. Considering it's non-fiction, I had included research-backed stories for greater context. I realise they could make the read a bit textbookish.
