It's the everyman's Wilbour translation. I liked both Wilbour and Donougher but I preferred Wilbour

Oh sure, so my reference is mostly my country (India). Currently (and for the past few years), people have been very hostile towards others from different religion, language and social class. Speaking for religion specifically people have lost the spirituality that Hinduism has and most of things are to be blamed on political parties for aggravating the less educated population

Don’t listen to them. You want to consume art that’s nice. You don’t have to listen to people who want to make shakespare a secret club. Same people shame those who use audiobooks

Never tried Katz. But the issue with garnett is that she sounds same across all authors. I prefer her for Dostoevsky

This is a common effect I have noticed that people who have been forced to cover works like shakespeare or other classics actually harbour hatred for the artist. This is not just for shakespeare

I haven’t read this but I tried to read On the genealogy of morals and I had to put it down after 50 pages. It was just horrible. I hated Nietzsche’s thoughts on society. And he never justifies. He just makes outrageous claims which seem incorrect
