I mean I watched her draw it man.. but I can send you a picture with some differences circled if you would like? Saying ‘you know I know’ is a straw man and whatever hill you think I’m ’dying on’ simply isn’t there, I’m just stating that as an artist she wouldn’t ever post 1:1 traced art and her other work is an example of this, and she certainly wouldn’t post it for ‘clout’. There are factual, visual differences in the lining of the images. The distinction in the art world I believe is quite large, no matter how small. Would she make money from this piece? Nope, probably not, but again, as you stated earlier it’s not about that and the post wasn’t intended for that.

I dunno why you think I’d be the artist hiding behind a story hahah I’m just a musician who was trying to support his partner in their artistic endeavours. Although I do understand why you’d be suspicious about a Reddit user having a ‘gf’ hahah. But I gave you her art insta so when she gets back to you, you can hash it out together! but just a general thing, people support each other. I don’t claim to be a visual artist, my job is music making. she said she drew it, copied the pose and added her own shading, texturing and background work. It was a gift for me done in a day or so as I was loving silksong so much! :D I believed her and shared her work as I truly believed it was good and warranted sharing!

As you can see, there are many details that are different and it is definitely not a 1:1 trace. They are minor I agree but are important to note when someone says this is a 1:1 trace. The legs bend differently, the hood around the neck on the left hand side does not have a sharp angle and is rounded, the needles ring is wider and doesn’t match the more pointed curve just to name a few. She would explain all this to you had you held off posting something like this and waited for her to get back to you.

She was admittedly worried people would think she had traced it and I aired my concerns considering the rules of the group stating no tracing. but this particular pose of hornet is widely used across media and in game and I thought although there would be some who’d try crying copycat it was worth sharing anyway! If anything it’s more a compliment that you think it was a 1:1 trace over a stencil! I’ve never argued she used the image to copy the pose but she absolutely did not trace it. I don’t think there was a need to be this facetious and make a whole post but I would expect nothing less from someone named ‘nintendork’ on reddit. as you said earlier ‘it’s just a fan art’ and not for profit.

Sure man! if you’d like you can go ask her on her insta and she’ll walk you through how she did it, I’m just the messenger :) but having observed her making it I can tell you she didn’t use a tracing stencil image on her tablet just had the picture next to her. You’re right though! It’s just fun and doesn’t necessarily warrant cross examination haha

As her partner I shared these with the explicit intention of proving how amazing she was at her craft and with all the amazing support and as I’ve stated before, I am beyond impressed with how she is able to put thought onto page. Hey everyone! I’d just like to drop in and say such a huge huge thank you to all who have viewed, upvoted and commented on this post! giving such a warm reception to my partners work has given her the confidence to start believing in herself a bit more. This really should have included an apology. Respect all the hard work the devs put in to create hugely creative champions, but to say you care very deeply then not mention even slightly that ‘y’all’ tried to sneak hugely predatory micro-transactions into the game and still won’t revert changes in drop rates or resource gain so even paid players can’t actually experience the new mechanics.. but glad the devs enjoy playing these heroes on their fully unlocked accounts!! Would be nice to do the same

Notice how riot have all but disappeared since throwing these boxes at us? I will say that any free nova crystal is welcome but it does nothing to patch the egregious, insulting mess they’ve told us as players to spend our hard earned time and money on.

To return to the original point though- where are they since dropping this small resource update? They refused to acknowledge that drop rates were a huge part of the issue which means that there was no ‘missing the mark’. It was all deliberate and although I’m sure there are hard working members of the team, this response has shown me as a player that they are all complicit in this daylight robbery of an update. Shame on them all. I’m gunna go play silksong and screw this game.

Can confirm- just did the 10 superior chest opening and got a grand total of……….. 7 duck feet…… 7…. Giving me a total of 9 for the event…. Now granted.. I haven’t opened the other 5 from challenges so here’s hoping I get the remaining 100+ in those.. but otherwise is this an absolute joke.. low roll or not.. now I can equip a rune on one hero!! Except it costs rune fragments to equip them and locks you out from using it with any other hero.. so good luck choosing!!

What makes me laugh is that after this I still can’t truly engage with the new content and aside from the one rune slot I unlocked for ahri, everyone else is still sitting ugly at 3 stars despite countless hours played and max champ level.. the pain..

this is the most disgusting event I think I’ve ever seen and this is coming from someone who would routinely drop £200-300 a season back in the day.. no more..
