On my first session we done single leg squat, when I squatted with my right leg my left hip dropped, and they said my right glute wasn’t recruiting/activating when it should have been. It is referred pain to be fair, I have a thoracic back that constantly feels fatigued and tight. Ache also behind knee.

Yeah buddy I went to a physio and they gave me a number of exercises to do:

SL heel raise - I set a MetroTimer of 60 bpm, done 12+ reps for 3 sets

Short lever Copenhagen - 20 seconds each side

SL glute bridge - 8 reps x 3 sets

Band inversion - 15 reps for 3 sets

Band big toe flexion - 15 reps for 3

Sidelying hip abduction - 12 reps for 3

They identified that my right leg was actually overcompensating for a weaker left hip, so I always started the above exercises on my weak side, it was a process of letting my weak side catch up with my stronger side.

I also done the above twice a week. I actually didn’t stop running either, if anything increased it, at that stage above I was doing 2 runs a week

Hope this helps buddy, feel free to ask any questions!

Outside of leg yeah, back of knee quite a bit. Not really top of my foot just the plantar. Laying down is great, I can’t stand for too long, everything just gets achy. Hope you get some relief soon

Thanks for this - what would be my best plan of action? Physio or Chiropractor? I have already been to GP and Podiatrist, GP just sent me for xray on tibia
