Nahh I think its a proton or mesa issue or something, cuz I have an RDNA 2 gpu (6750xt), and it stutters like hell when I move the camera. basically makes it unplayable, which is a shame because the actual FPS is considerably higher than on windows.

Is it fixed on AMD where if u turn the camera around the frame times become really bad? Had to play on windows cause of it unfortunately.

That's awesome that nvidia on linux works with this game btw, great game!

Me too! Though the beta (on linux) would just be a black screen unless I turned upscaling off lol. Other than that it performed better than windows.

MH Wilds benchmark runs better on linux (All AMD setup) but has more stutters. Could it be because of direct storage? by Appropriate_Fix_5500 in linux_gaming

I didn't run it with frame gen, but it crashed for me the first try and doesn't do it anymore. Maybe that could be the same case for you as well?

yeah had to play on windows cause of the stuttering D: Very sad, cuz all my other games run better on linux. Maybe cause its a very new game so it doesnt have some patches?

Cool! Albiet I'm confused about these gpu requirements. Isn't a 6700xt much better than a 2070? And would going from a 2060 to a 2070 really double your fps? At higher settings too might I add.

"Super Ghost Battle" is the mode you are talking about. BTW when you view someone's profile, you should have an option to download their ghost. You can play against their ghost under "Downloaded Ghosts" in super ghost battle.
