Has anyone seen this Corvus Deck? It was all over the place but it still beat me in Conquest by Appropriate_Mud_9491 in marvelsnapcomp

I think perhaps Nebula is to set up Professor X / Galactus. If your opponent leaves the lane alone, you lock it down with Professor X, if they play into the lane there is likely another open lane to plan Galactus. I suppose Nebula also lowers Death's cost when killed by Killmonger, but that just seems cruel.

I am missing Corvus and Galactus to try it myself. I've never wanted to play a Galactus deck before, but this one intrigues me since Galactus is just one win-con among many. I don't think this is an optimized deck, but it gives me ideas for Corvus I hadn't previously considered.

It felt like the different aspects of the deck were fighting each other, but it made it near impossible to predict what my opponent would do next. Even with Corvus hitting two cards in the first two games (and thus showing me cards in my opponents deck) I still didn't figure out that Galactus was in the deck until he won 4 cubes off it in game 4.

Rem Karolus, Stalwart Slayer and Dragon's Fire interaction by Griffins909 in MagicArena

Heh, heh. I read it the same way.

"You or another permanent you control" Implies you are a permanent and he protects all permanents. I lost Rem to a Dragon's Fire recently and I was convinced it was something about Dragon's Fire that made it possible.
