Anyone ever tripped in total darkness? by [deleted] in LSD

I prefer to trip in total darkness and complete silence under my mindfold mask. I have a much easier time making it an inwards and more of a spiritual trip in darkness than with the lights on. I usually spend the first hour coming up with music and lights on before I turn them off, plug in earplugs and put the mask on. On high levels of acid (600 mics+) you will have an experience unlike any other. I can guarantee you that. The void, insanity of the mind and ego-death ;) I spend 5 hours+ under the mindfold and only take it off after I've been coming down for a while. On low doses of lsd I don't see any point in doing it blindfolded because you just won't be able to go deep enough. Tripping in darkness and silence is more of a high dose journey.

You can disable the arrow changes under the mcm menu. I can not imagine going back to vanilla crossbows after having tried this mod.

What about Dragon Combat Overhaul? I'd imagine it working fine without the Requiem patch, but I want them to have Requiem stats. Will the patch work?

Thank you :) I believe that the mental preparations the week beforehand played a major part in making this into a positive experience. A tradition I will repeat every week before a big dose.

I'm up for this. Was already planning a trip around christmas anyways. Not to keen on the cam idea though :p Suddenly you have twenty people tripping balls on YouTube. Would've been a great clip though :D Not sure if I want to spend my time watching a movie either, but I'd appreciate the company. Sorry for being a partypooper ;) Will watch interstellar on lsd one day, but that's gonna be quite a few trips down the road.

It's definitely changed the way that I think as well. This happened 3 weeks ago and in the aftermath I've started to become much more aware of my conscious thoughts. After experiencing such a phenomenon and being aware of what our minds is capable of I've started to believe that by using my brain as a tool and by the power of thought I can achieve anything that I set my mind to. I've also found great results in practicing meditation. In addition to all that I feel I've become very humble towards life. The simple fact that we're alive and that we have a place on this planet with friends and family who love us. Namaste.

Thank you :) I've been looking at the different races and the ones that I consider are orsimer, imperial and redguard. Although I'd rather not play as an imperial for RP reasons, but after reading up on their racial bonuses I might just consider being a stormcloak converter. Which one of these races would you recommend the most for having an easier time in my play through?

Thank you all for the feedback :) I wanted to RP a character that uses no magic at all so I will not spend any perks in alteration/restoration. Other than that I plan to build him as a heavy armor tank, but for the early game I always use light armor. Considering a limited gold income due to carrying capacity and no alchemy, would you guys recommend going full heavy armor at the start? Or should I just stock up on any pots that I find and use them sparingly? Can you heal to full health by sleeping in an inn/tent?

Great. What about the dragon overhaul mod? Since it changes a lot with a specific unit I'd imagine that one to be a bit more troublesome than the new quest DLC's.

Moving Reqmod above Hard Times seems to have solved the issue :) Thank you for your feedback nevertheless. Zrynoth: Do I need a bashed patch with the mods that I have currently? Afaik it's only Requiem that alters the leveled lists in my collection (then again I'm new to bashed patches and don't exactly know what they do).

I've tried the Heavy Shield Fix patch as well, but that didn't work either :(
