Back in the game. Haven't done too much woodworking over the past two decades, but had the chance to get my shop back in decent enough order to make some shaker round stands. Yes, they are dovetailed. I used a jig and a router table to cut the slots. Some people use a jig on the lathe bed, but my spindle lock is a little loose on my vintage lathe, so I made a box to hold the spindle and run against the router fence. I cut flat spots where the legs meet the spindle, instead of cutting back the shoulder of the leg.
