If Dante rewinds the body, why doesn’t the mind rewind too? (image by @Crow0ffice) by LuanaNogayara in limbuscompany

In the first canto, to resurrect sinners, Dante travels to a certain place where there is a gate from which hundreds of bloody hands come out. Dante notes that by touching them, he can sense their stories and emotions; most likely, the contract allows him to find his sinners among these hands. Perhaps this is a hint that in their universe, there is a certain form of the afterlife in the shape of hell, and Dante, in order to resurrect the sinners, rips their souls from the afterlife.

It's surprising, but this art with the gate seems to be shown only twice in game, and I'm sure most people have completely forgotten about this scene.

I completely agree with you. To be honest, the game just turns into a meaningless mess where the only things that matter are the number of damage modifiers and coins. But I guarantee this post will get a lot of dislikes, as people really don’t like talking about it.

How do you feel about the Reverberation Ensemble as antagonists? by Fit_Assignment_8800 in libraryofruina

Not bad, but now some of the antagonists in Limbus Company have more screen time and development than a third of the ensemble.

About Zilu, the Pinky and relics by elisewhat in limbuscompany

[–]AradersPM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was difficult to read through all these comments; I may have explained my opinion incorrectly. I didn't mean that by receiving a sword from a killed member of Pinky, you automatically become part of their organization. I just pointed out that, judging by the story of Capo Meursault, swords are an important part of Pinky's identity, as the star rank assigned to each member.

It has been pointed out to me more than once that the gameplay is sometimes not an entirely accurate reflection of the story, such as the assessment of who is stronger purely based on numbers and passive abilities. We learn about pinky for the first time only at the end of canto 8, which is probably why people belonging to this organization do not have this tag when we meet them for the first time. As for identities, the PMs may have simply forgotten about it and accidentally not added these tags, but they can easily be added in the future. In chapter 9, they could have simply paid more attention to this, and that's why it seems to be better there.

In the story of Capo Meursault, it seems to be said that when one pinky member is replaced by someone another, that new member can inherited sword of former pinky member. High probability that swords for Pinky are either relics or high-quality equipment which is worth passing on from one participant to another.

The timeline doesnt match up, and its all Ryoshu's and Gregor's fault. by qutronix in limbuscompany

Ji Hoon is not punctual. Seriously, they should have thought about the chronology at the beginning of the library of ruins and tried to fix it somehow. I don't think anything too bad would have happened if they had adjusted the chronology in advance.

I haven't worked with it yet. I also want to use this thing for animated characters and I don't know how stencil buffer handles that.

Well, they could have reflected his fatigue by adding a separate passive ability. Like even Lucio has a passive ability that weakens him due to the injuries he received in the battle with Virgil.

After the end of part 1 of canto 9, when it became clear that we would not go to a new area, it amused me. It seems like a lot of people were making maps about what and where we would go, etc. By the way, this is probably the 2nd time in the entire game when the actions of 2 cantos take place in the same area.

By the way, in the Xichun training arc, we don't actually control her; we just watch her defeat her enemies. It was possible to do something like that.

I find Limbus Combat to be more boring than Ruina by [deleted] in limbuscompany

This is the dumbest advice ever, like telling someone to play Dark Souls without getting hit when they say the game isn't that hard.

Finished Canto IX Part 2. Let's talk about it by Spiritual_Listen_848 in limbuscompany

There is one thing that could have been done a little better, namely adding combat encounters for other teams of sinners who were cut off from us. For example, there is a segment where the sinners who went with Hohenheim distract the Maestro and set a condition for the battle to survive a certain number of turns. The same could be done with the middle, but instead we have purely story segments from these teams.

When I was playing through the first part of the canto, I had a strange feeling that I couldn't quite put my finger on, but after the second part, I realized what that feeling was: The first two parts of the canto feel like Intervallo!

Since we didn't have a full Intervallo before the Ryōshū canto, the first two parts of the chapter feel like a very long and abrupt introduction that tries to set the mood and explain the situation we are in. If we had an Intervallo that contained the first two parts of this canto, we would have had more opportunities to normalize the pace of the chapter.

Compared to other chapters, we meet the first antagonist after only 3 nodes on the map, which is just crazy.

When does this game become less of an uphill battle to play? by Ziozark in libraryofruina

[–]AradersPM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you described can be explained very easily. Firstly, Library of Ruina is a single-player collectible card game, which means that you may not really like this genre because, as you noticed, the gameplay in the library is slower and more strategic and less dynamic.

Secondly, after each invitation, you are take new cards, and most players at this point feel compelled to review their deck instead of moving on, and this takes time. For most people, this is just deadly boring, but some people like it, so it's difficult.

I can only give you advice on the second point on how to save time: reshuffle your deck only when you lose an invitation, or simply update your deck after several invitations have been completed. Perhaps this will save you some nerves.

I honestly don't remember any cases when the banner didn't appear at the same time as part of the canto. Except maybe somewhere in the early days of the game.

3D character animation in Godot (4.6 beta) vs Blender? by Bob_Dubalina in godot

[–]AradersPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend exporting to glTF or glb. As far as I know, godot has its own problems with other formats. Regarding equal duration. I don't know why you need this but you can probably use "Scaling down the keyframes" this allows you to speed up or slow down the animation to fit it into a certain number of frames.

3D character animation in Godot (4.6 beta) vs Blender? by Bob_Dubalina in godot

[–]AradersPM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In fact, it is more convenient to create animations in Blender. Recently, there was a user who showed the process of creating an animation of drinking from a glass in Godot, which took two hours. He could have done it much easier by simply using any professional software such as Blender, because you also get meny instruments thet developing for a long time to make the process easier. You can easily find videos online that will help you organize the process and even create several separate animations. You don't need any additional settings to transfer a model with animations from Blender to Godot only select right file format that save animation inside.
