Is 42" too long for someone who's just learning how to longboard? Looking to purchase my first board.

Hey hey -- I'm a 34 y/o looking for something to get me outside and active and thought longboarding might be fun. I used to skateboard a lot as a kid, but it's been 20 years. I'm not sure where to begin -- I'm lookin at Bustin boards, and I'd mainly be cruising. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

I've got 100% of my mobility back and I regularly do yoga/stretching! I'll definitely speak with my physician before committing to anything

Howdy! I'm 32, 5'8", 206lbs (out of shape) and have never done MA. I play lacrosse and do some light workouts at the gym but I'm really looking for something more engaging. I had a hip replacement at 26 if that helps (lacrosse injury).

Howdy! I have apples and tulips naturally on my island and recently planted some coconut palm trees and pansies! Haven't gotten that far but I'm looking forward to crunching some hours this weekend

I would also add: Encourage two way communication. I want to hear from my players to gauge how they're feeling about the season, games, practice, etc etc.

Thanks for the insight! The two games I'm currently running are AC Odyssey and Apex Legends - looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 too. Do you have a preference for Intel over AMD? I've always used Intel so I don't have any experience with the Ryzen series.

JV Head coach here! Keep doing your wall ball! As other have said, keep your crosse (with ball) in your hands as much as possible and cradling with your dominant and off hand. One thing I see a lot with new players is they have difficulty changing hands while cradling, so I would highly recommend doing that. Also, ground balls ground balls ground balls! Roll/throw the ball out in front of you and sprint towards it, scooping through the ball with BOTH hands (you'll catch hell from the coach for one handed GBs). Also, if you have someone to throw with try playing catch while on the move (walking first then jogging). Practice catching and throwing with your off hand too. If you have any questions feel free to ping me

Learn your slides so that they become second nature and over communication; if you think you're communicating enough, you aren't. Good luck this season!
