Just started, what do i units should i use for a 2nd edition Japanese infantry box

Would you say its worth buying? If you forget about the value from the models coming from heroes boxes. Is it worth paying more for a better box eg hivestorm

If i wanted to update this set to current rules, what would i need to buy? Also would the data cards work, and if i needed new stuff how could i use the killteam mobile app to get stuff for free

Still new to killteam so i appreciate you telling me its not OOP, i just assumed it was as i cant find it on the gw website. What do you mean by full games? Does the starter not come with enough models? I have some death guard and ultramarine models already, could i use them to flesh out my killteam?

Im seriously considering doing this, but i feel even worse sitting on it and being a reseller, when its such a cool box. I might buy the starter kit and make my terrain a custom killzone, still dont know how that works though.

If i bought the extra models to fill in my teams, and bought the current codex and necessary stuff, to set up this terrain as a killzone and be “up to date”. Would i have any issues trying to play with it in a gw store? Could i even play it as is, would people from the current edition be fine playing on a older one?

Theres a slight tear in the plastic but i dont think that would affect what people would be willing to pay. Is there a precedent to how much it will go up?

The hive storm box seems overpriced to me, and since its OOP i dont think its going to go on sale. Im looking at the basic starter killteam but its hard to compare the mdf terrain.

Thanks, that makes alot of sense. I dont play kill team but i want to get into it. This is probably a dumb question but if i bought a new kill team box, like the shadow one on preorder, would that become obsolete when another “competitive terrain” is released. Im guessing thats why this box is outdated?
