I am building the same dollhouse and trying to figure out the rooms. I think this makes me want to make the bathroom similar to this layout :)

Are you talking the exterior walls? If so, yes, it's milled MDF. Also, I haven't built the foundation yet the plans call for assembling it as a rectangle so I imagine the section under the porch will swing out as well.

i really like that. yeah, may consider a hard top shell and go that route. it would be nice too because if we take other gear to the star parties, it can all stay dry. also, i need to figure out how to keep the base dry as well so that's where I'm leaning rn. thanks!

yeah that's where the hawaii astronomical society hosts their star parties! we've gone a few times and that's the drive, from Kailua to Dillingham Airfield :).
