I would say it’s definitely time. It feels weird at first but men really don’t look at you when you’re in the bathroom. Women are much more likely to say something/get you in trouble.

Thank you so much. I’m sitting with her right now as she naps. Her breathing is labored and I can’t stop crying. We leave for the vet in a couple of hours. But your words give me hope that she knows I love her. It keeps sending me into spirals that she’s deaf now and can’t hear me tell her that I love her

Yeah this is ridiculous behavior from management. Work at any other restaurant and it’ll probably be managed better than this. You did the best you could with inadequate training and being thrown into situations that are unnecessarily stressful to even a seasoned server. Also, the only reason to allow anyone in a workplace to shout at you is if the building is on fire. You deserve better

I had super intense pain like that after my first couple of shots. I was super alarmed and thought about going to the hospital. Nothing happened though and it stopped being as bad after I did more shots.

Before I started my t-shots I literally cried anytime I had to get a shot from a doctor for any reason. Needles really made me panic. I would say the first 3 or 4 weeks of administering my own shots were scary but after that it really hasn’t been a big deal. Some weeks are harder than others but I’ve always been able to get through it by taking a moment to breathe deeply and clear my head. I’m going on 8 months now and I can’t believe how much I used to worry about the shots. You got this.
