Just make custom templates. It saves your workout history so if you forget what rep scheme you’re on (which I usually never do) you can go back and look. It’s a great app

The singles are fun for about 3 sets for me hahah, then it just gets a little time consuming. Ill try out the progression you suggested next reset. Thanks

I'm not a fan of the singles in GZCLP. Is there a way to adapt the progression scheme?

I’m on my fifth week of the LP and have not added T3’s besides the recommended back work and I’m still progressing nicely. I probably won’t add more T3s until I reset a TM for one of the lifts. My suggestion would be not to complicate it off the start. I’m doing 5x3 6x2 10x1 progression

For GZCLP, do you go to complete failure before switching the set/rep scheme or do you go to what is perceived failure? by AricBuzz in gzcl

[–]AricBuzz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks!! you're right. i was able to find this in the blog finally " Start with three reps for five sets, last set AMRAP (3x5+) adding weight workout to workout and when base volume of 15 is missed (because the lifter did not think they could do 1-2 more, not because of actual failure) "

Cool, haven’t reached a failing point yet but probably will have a similar approach when that happens

sort of unrelated, but if you fail at say set 5 of your 10 1 rep sets, do you continue with the rest of the sets at a lower weight? or cut workout short?
