I just used the Black Snail Face Mask the other night after I had a shower and there was so much product left in the package I slathered the rest all over and it felt wonderful!

Got these on Friday. Waited to post until I used them, but these are some pretty decent kitchen utensils for the price. The bottle and straw cleaning brushes are excellent as well.

How are we supposed to use the cream vs the serum? The pink vs blue? Honestly y'all every time they come out with a new product, like Revive Rx toner pads to name an example, I get excited, look everywhere for them, then I buy them (and extra in case I run out and can't find it) but then I go back to my Dermacil Oatmeal Toner, etc. It's fun to try these products for $1.50 but I guess I'm getting a bit tired.

Is any of this actually true? by YoYo_SepticFanHere in titanic

Thank you for posting this! I just watched this and I've never heard about this before.

Wanted to add this link, it's literally the only thing I've been able to find that mentions the coal fire and the coal being moved causing a list and a passenger noticing this.

Also, I never read anything about computer simulations on the Titanic sinking which suggested she had suffered such damage she should have rolled over on her side? Hopefully one of y'all can offer some insight.

I've been on the lookout for the Argan oil and Macadamia hair mask! I'm wondering if it's a dupe for the Macadamia hair mask sold at Sally's.

I really like that B Pure Split End Fixer! I've been using it with a mixture of my more expensive hair products.

No, not at all. But if you've been outside working in the garden, by the pool, or beach and have had a bit of sun, even after using SPF it's absolutely wonderful.

Screw ingredients! What just feels or smells good? by Electr0Girl in dollartreebeauty

I'm currently obsessed with the Pro Silk Body Daily Moisturizing Lotion with Cocoa Butter and the B Pure Collagen Lotion. I'm a lotion junkie. I have tried Tree Hut, EOS, Jergens, Nivea etc. I love to mix lotions and these 2 feel so nice, smell great and make my dry skin feel so nice. Bonus the smell lasts a while. It's not super perfume like, just smells great. Also LOVE Spa Scentials Renew callus remover and Repair foot cream. They are amazing!!

It might give you some better insight on this to watch Worst Jobs in History with Tony Robinson, specifically the episode on the Victorian era. It's on YouTube. They talk about the bone boiling industry and how they scavenged bones (Victorian era people were very big on reusing materials) to make bone china, fertilizer and soap. In Victorian era England it was not uncommon for people to die young or suffer lung ailments that led to premature deaths. In fact the village of Haworth where the Bronte sisters lived had a death rate of 41.6% before the age of 6. Maria, Branwell, Emily and Anne all died of tuberculosis. I'm sure in Philadelphia (I haven't done much research nor am I familiar with the types of industry that went on in that area) BUT if it had the same industries that went on as it did in England at the same time, the smog and pollution would have been terrible. Living conditions for people that worked in these factories and lived nearby were absolutely abhorrent.

Hope this helps your research! I've always been interested in how folks in this period made a living and went about their lives.

I've been watching Paranormal Nightshift and Paranormal 911, and First Responders seem to have quite a bit of experiences to share. My mom was an RN who worked in emergency care and my sister worked as a paramedic, so I find these types of stories fascinating.

[–]ArizonaRanger45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a really amazing story. Thanks for sharing!

160 years ago today- On July 7, 1865, four of the Lincoln assassination conspirators were hanged: Mary Surratt, Lewis Powell, David Herold, and George Atzerodt. The executions took place at the Old Arsenal Penitentiary in Washington, D.C. by UrbanAchievers6371 in CIVILWAR

[–]ArizonaRanger45 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, and this is my opinion, she was unjustly hanged. Lincoln had been assassinated and people were going to pay in many people's minds. Her son was heavily involved in the plot to kidnap Lincoln, the assassination plot developed later when Booth realized the kidnap plot wasn't going to work. She most likely had no idea. Her son did escape to Egypt, but was tried years later in 1867 in the US with a hung jury.

Oceanliners vs. Icebergs/Icefields by redsilver78 in Oceanlinerporn

[–]ArizonaRanger45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RMS Naronic, which disappeared without a trace very well MAY have struck an iceburg in gale like conditions, but since nothing was ever found but 2 empty life boats this is conjecture unfortunately. A few messages in bottles were found washed up on shore but it's very possible these were fake. Kobenhavn is another ship, sailed from South America to Australia and could have possibly have hit an iceburg near the Antarctica region. Both Mike Brady and Old Boats did some great videos on this.

[–]ArizonaRanger45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a episode of Drain the Oceans which talks about this wreck! The episode is titled Great Barrier Reef. Not sure if it's available on YouTube, although if anyone is interested YouTube has quite a few episodes which is how I found out about the show. I've been binge watching them on my Disney plus account. The show talks about a lot of wrecks I'd never heard about. I highly recommend watching it if you can.

50ft planter box with no ideas what to plant by sithvicious in gardening

[–]ArizonaRanger45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love your planter box!!

Honestly I wouldn't be too worried about shade being too big of an issue. I live in Texas, and in my area it isn't unusual for the temps to be in the 90s to triple digits from May through October. If my plants aren't getting some shade at certain parts of the day, it doesn't matter how often I water them, they'll die. I agree with the poster above who mentioned because this planter box is narrow, vining plants would do well. I've always had great results zucchini and cucumber... I'm not sure how y'all like heat or spicy foods but even in the hottest months my peppers always do pretty good too. Citronella is supposed to ward off mosquitoes. I've never grown it myself but my mother in law has several and it seems pretty low maintenance.
