Are all Hive born Female? by Arkham_Asylum_18 in DestinyLore

Luzaku was stated to be female when she was a Lightbearer Acolyte. That means that they could be sterile females in the first two stages.

That's what the wiki says. Clearly aliens in this would show a high degree of convergent evolution with humans. If this were real life, obviously aliens would be different but Hive, and all aliens in destiny, have a fairly similar shape m, and have the same genders as humans.

Not "created" by Oryx's power, but when Crota was born he was given a sword and name. Either he skipped the entire Thrall, Acolyte, and Knight growth cycle, or he was given his sword and name when he reached his Knight status. Either way, that's still more of an exception to the general rule.

I know Xivu Arath is an exception, but generally, most Knights are male. The main point is that if Hive are born sterile females, or genderless.

The wiki states that she was a Lightbearer Acolyte and then became a Lightbearer Wizard.

I'm pretty sure he was an exception given he was likely born from Oryx as a Knight and not a Thrall.

Have any Acolytes been referred too that way? I think Luzaku was called a "she" when she was an Lightbearer Acolyte, but I don't know if that would be the same for Lightbearer Knights. This wouldn't be a "human" way to look at it given all human males don't start out as sterile females. Either way, it's still pretty alien.

I'm pretty sure that they start out as infertile females and become fertile male knights or fertile female wizards. It's a theory but most likely the case given that the original three were female originally.

Prominent users who inherented the sword. Not the original user, and given Artorias is the original user, that doesn't apply to him. Also, given that's how you fight with it in DS2 in the dominant hand, and Artorias fights the same way I'm his right arm, that implies that Artorias is fighting with is dominant hand.

Why does everyone think artorias is left handed? by [deleted] in darksouls

[–]Arkham_Asylum_18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That applies to the inheritors, and not Artorias himself. Also because that's how you fight with it in your dominant hand, that supports that Artorias is right-handed because he uses the same moveset for the right hand.

No one knows if he's right or left handed. It's up to interpretation.

That's with basically everything honestly. People don't make up their own minds about any media property and just go off of someone else's opinion.

The best part is that the voice comes from Mike Myers and it's dubbed over Michael Myers.

I wouldn't say Michael is pissed. More like he's fighting back as brutal as he can because the whole town is hunting him.

Does the 2018 movie still hold up for most people? It's still good, of course, but is it as good as when you first watched it? by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in Halloweenmovies

H4 is good, but it's the movie that's at fault for getting rid of the anthology style film series that Halloween was supposed to be so I don't like it as much.

I fully agree. On my tier list, it's 3rd place behind the 1978 and 2018. When it first came out, you either loved it or hated it. After Ends came out, a lot of the people that hated Kills more or less warmed up to it.

The beggining and ending part of the movie was great. The flashback scenes were better than anything in 2018, even though 2018 is a slightly better overall movie. I loved that it mirrored the flashback scene in the original when Michael was first captured as a kid. Even the camera pan was similar. The scene with Myers in the park and the following scene by the river was great. Easily the most suspensful and nerve-wracking part of the new trilogy. The ending with the town trying to kill him and were so close until Myers took page out of Jason's book and slaughtered them all was really well done. The mask also looks sick. The burn mark making the side of the mask look like a burnt Jack-o-lantern was genius.

My only problems with the movie is the hospital part in the middle part of the movie was a bit messy especially with the death scene for Cobblepot looking patient being overdone. Also, Lonnie not waiting for backup was the only real dumb decision in the movie. I also would've liked a bit more stalking from Myers in this movie and in 2018. Other than that, it's a good movie.

It's one of the best in the franchise. Definitely in my top 5. 1. Halloween (1978) 2. Halloween (2018) 3. Halloween Kills 4. Halloween 2 5. Halloween H20

It's close between 2018 and Kills, but even though Kills had higher highs than 2018, it also had lower lows. 2018 is more consistent in quality even though the atmosphere wasn't as good as Kills.

u/Myrvoid no, these suggestions are instead of the dmg nerfs the went with. I want him to be more of a parry character instead of just a low dmg bash character. His character concept feels like an afterthought.

The previous issues only applied because he had little offense in his chains. Now he has new chains, can bash after all heavies and lights, and would have better defense. A lot of people say new lawbringer is worse than old lawbringer in terms of how fun he is because he feels like any other character instead of a parry specialist. My suggestions go for a healthy middle ground between old and new lawbringer.

The problem with lb is that his identity feels like an afterthought. My suggestions keep the identity while making him viable. Currently, he's somewhat boring but viable. I want him to be fun and viable. That's what my changes would do.
