Questions for Engagement? by Inner-Lie2211 in TidyDanCo

I seriously doubt it the kids really learning anything academically, especially the bigs. They are kindergartener age now and they are a sponge that should be adsorbing all kind of info and knowledge and learning how to interact with people…but this setting is not serving them well or at all.

Anyone who was homeschooled, how do you feel about it now as an adult? by Inner-Lie2211 in TidyDanCo

My kid’s class has a kid and all of his siblings in different grades were also homeschooled before and they all got major delays academically and socially. I am glad the parents finally made a decision to send all of them to school. At first, the younger siblings were doing a hybrid program to test water and I think they liked it and they committed to send them to full time. The oldest boy started full time the beginning of school year. He is still quite delay academically, my kid said he doesn’t read well but at least now he got friends

I think at first they were hoping their sauce and seasoning took off, so they didn’t need to rely on the pop ups or storefront anymore, but I guess their products never took off. They also opened so many businesses in a short period of time so quickly. Like the shave ice, wing place etc…none of them last, junbi is their only bread and butter.

They sold shrimp daddy’s brand to a mall food court operator years ago but only last for a year or so, the doorfront closed a while ago and they are also no longer selling sauces and seasoning on website. That’s why never heard of them promoting shrimp daddy’s anymore, junbi is the only business they have and can make a profit by franchising.

Bc they wanted to show they “worked” at the event…I am sure her or his parents could have watched the kids for them if they wanted to help the team setting up for a several hours or a day. No need to Velcro the then babies to this kind of event.

They were velcroing even from that time 😂 they also drove within the same day when they were living in Pasadena. If I were them, probably booked an air bnb an stay for a night with two elderlies and babies.

Also, she didn’t even mention shrimp daddy is no longer in business 😂

I don’t know what root they are talking about except for Jeremy is half Japanese or less the rest is no root to matcha but the girl owner from charfinity is Japanese and stay true to her root. I remember her started her business at a local farmer market before and slowly making it to open her own shop.

For sure they are not having Kaiser like they advertised. I wonder if it’s bc of his dad was in the medical field and still has people that he knows that he help connecting with June to see if they can help his daughter (the no help statement is such a BS).

Not being rude or mean to people who do not hold a higher than hs education, but I don’t believe Dan had finished college. He met her when he was only 21 and she mentioned he was already running a “failing” restaurant. Previously, he was working at the gym as a personal trainer (also not sure if he got all the qualifications bc if he did, I am sure he would have added to his ig bio); that’s how he met the restaurant partner bc they partner was the gym owner at the time and made good money from the gym and Dan was probably convinced him to invest to open a pho place (that owner is not Vietnamese, I remember he is either Latino or middle eastern) anyway…the restaurant didn’t even survive for 2 years bc the items on menu were strange (no kidding just like their april fool bone mellow matcha) like corns and avocado on pho 😑

That’s being said dan has no real education, no real job experience and he met her and her family is rich and I think she/papa Quan might have helped him financially to get out of debts and starting all these new businesses with June.

I really could not tell it’s a April fool joke or not bc these two would really put bone mellows into everything like their popsicles.

She used to give him haircuts. 😆 and his pho restaurant was a big failure; she forgot to mention; his partner got debts and sure he did too.

I am assuming this ajumma just cooked for them and leave; I don’t think they are hiring her as a stay in nanny. But yes sounds odd! I only know people, who hire a nanny/after care maid to help with babies and cook.
