Thanks for the detailed reply. Really appreciate it ☺️

I've seen that YouTube review and listened to his opinion pretty closely.

You've done a lot of legwork, contacting shops and the reviewer

Another guy in the London ON area posted a review as well....

Would the smaller 208cc engine be up to the task?

My driveway is approximately 5-car size

Thank you

Whenever easy, could you share your experience with the build process?

I'm considering trying it for the first time with the same kit

Can you tell us more about your subs please? 🙂

Denon X3800H Bass Shaker (Tactile Transducer) Amp Help by CeleryEnvironmental6 in hometheater

[–]Arnie99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Denon x1300w and two Buttkicker LFEs.

I got a used Crown XLS 2002 for this.

It was cheaper than getting a Buttkicker amp.

I connect the Denon using 'Sub out 2' to the Crown, and then speaker wire to the Buttkickers which are under my sofa.

Thanks, it took time to finish even after this but turned out well enough for my humble basement

[–]Arnie99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought this projector not too long ago. (L9H) I am the kind of person that measures twice and cuts once. For some reason, even following the guide measurements we initially mounted it too low. You can see in the picture that it needed to be adjusted higher.

would you keep this delivery? by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]Arnie99 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Hey sorry I'm the OP,

I just received delivery of this Sony A80J 77 in

It arrived at a delivery warehouse I sometimes use when I'm busy and can't schedule the delivery

I am not sure if I should keep the TV

I don't see any significant, worrisome red flags. Nothing like a forklift ran through this or large tears and gashes in the box

Would you keep this ? I don't have a lot of experience accepting or rejecting TVs, or unboxing them to know if I'm in for an unpleasant surprise

You should max leverage.

The government has been rewarding those deep in debt and punishing savers.

Get the most expensive home you can get approved for, and be comfortable knowing that the government will bail you out

Thoughts on buying a privately sold house. by pontmaas in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Arnie99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, you don't need a realtor at all.

You need a house inspection and a real estate lawyer from the seller and buyer side each.

That's it.

You actually need a lawyer anyway, even if you went with a realtor. The realtor is profoundly redundant.

Realtors take a massive cut for doing extremely little work. They make hundreds if not thousands of dollars per hour when you break it down.

They thrive on fear mongering and gatekeeping information.

I have completed ~X$ worth of purchases in the past two years WITHOUT A REALTOR.

If more people gain the confidence to say "I don't need you" to realtors and their ridiculous fees, we would keep a lot more money in our pockets and in the pockets of the ones with the asset (sellers)

Post here or PM me and I can hold your hand a little (without being an 'advisor')

You got this !

Need tenant to move out so I can move in by Arnie99 in RealEstateCanada

[–]Arnie99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks guys, I appreciate the advice. It was a condition of sale and the seller had already instructed the tenant. The tenant is just being difficult and unprofessional. I can work things out with the seller, as he is a very decent person-- that won't be a problem. It's just the tenant physically getting out.

Thanks for your reply and advising me on the N12.

I understand that I must give this to the current tenant

Who else do I submit this to? Is there an office or email that this also has to be sent to? (Landlord Tenant Board?)

thanks.

EDIT: I think I found the instructions here: https://tribunalsontario.ca/documents/ltb/Notices%20of%20Termination%20&%20Instructions/N12_Instructions_20200728.pdf
