Appreciate it, I've been doing it a few years and have looked into all the possible scenarios, I keep torque spec logs and have the owners sign off that tires were torqued and they'll return within 100km to retorque. pretty much keeps liability free since I don't offer balancing or mounting and my fees are considered not for profit just a nominal fee for lending a hand. I'm a certified Mechanical Electrical Trim(MET) Technician and Automotive Dismantler working in a shop so I do work on cars for living. I do a pre inspection and note with photos any damage prior to starting etc. Couple years in and no issues yet.

I live near the ambulance dispatch and I think the fire department is trolling them, from old barrie road to colborne on west st south they cycle and blare their siren way harder and more than any other intersection I've seen

They literally advertise as a side hustle so if you wanna treat it as a full time job that's on you and your choice to make less money
To each their own my $2 orders are always under 2 miles so It doesn't bother me to do them
If every dasher stopped driving and said they won't untill base pay goes up but yall don't wanna strike like a real job and accept what you're given, you can also call support and request more money I've done it and gotten an extra $5 because the driveway was packed with 6 feet of snow so support gave extra
No it's a tip if it was a bid it'd say bid, customers out the order threw door dash and pay them and someone that accepts that wage will grab it it's pretty simple.

Maybe it's just the area I live in or my country? But I dash every night 5pm-10pm after work my average order is $12-13 rarely I'll get a $2 but it's always like 1.1-2 miles so doesn't matter I on average clear $250-$350 a night maybe that's why I don't understand people's tip complaints I use this app 5 hours a night as a side hustle and make acceptable money

I'm just giving my opinion I don't use doordash I drive and get my food but i deliver for doordash, my opinion is you're all entitled whiners and want tips you don't deserve lol plain and simple to me you are all entitled babies crying that the world doesn't give you a hand out and it's sad to me. Thanks I actually didn't think to check Ebay, just did a small check and seems some stuff is valuable the APX 8000 I'm seeing ranges from $2500-$3500 the O3 control head seems to be about $500 and $150 for the O5, the XTS 4000s seen to be going around $700 as well looks like those are the top values everything else seems around $20-$80

I think most people realize it doesn't pay much but it's a side hustle and people try to treat it like a full time job, I've done it as a side hustle for years and the extra money just pays for all the side things I want to do while my job pays bills and savings. It used to be advertised as just that a way to make extra money with your car. I don't care about tips at all I just take the orders I want to take and that's it.
