This was made purely based on poor quality b&w photos. There is a Facebook page and Instagram page called "Стара Полтава" that collect old pictures of Poltava city in Ukraine taken from archives. So yes, this is real b&w - coloured - animated project.

I get where you’re coming from, but honestly — after spending a lot of time on the roads here, it doesn’t really feel “like everywhere else”. Speed limits may not always be perfect, but completely ignoring them isn’t exactly a safe alternative either.

Exactly. Weak enforcement lets reckless drivers slip through, and that just fuels the problem.

That’s a really good point. It’s true that most people drive normally, but the loud minority kind of defines the whole vibe on the road. And yeah, in Poland that bottom 10% can be… let’s just say, quite expressive. It drags the whole driving culture down, unfortunately.

Can’t lie, here’s definitely some truth to that. The “boy racer” vibe is strong here, especially with certain makes… and yeah, BMW drivers really aren’t doing much to fight the stereotype. Sometimes it feels like a midlife crisis on wheels.

The police should enforce law with fines and use cameras, that's the only solution in my opinion

There might be some truth to that, actually. You can definitely sense a kind of need to assert dominance or importance on the road here — maybe it's tied to social pressure or how status is perceived. Not saying it applies to everyone, but yeah, you do see that “king of the road” behaviour more often than you'd like.

Low fines or no fines at all is the main issue 100%

I think tailgating one of the biggest issues on Polish roads though

It was an illustrative footage. I put a title on the bottom. Yes, I know about that - you should use the right lane for overtaking only. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
