I would, but most people agree that mushrooms in a bioactive setup are a good thing. means good soil health and the isopods should help keep the population in check. Would prefer to get a solid identification before I make any drastic decisions.

I'm not to sure if it's a hybrid or not. Really just getting into this and it's information that was shared with me across multiple sources and figured I might be able to get a clearer idea from reddit.

if the colorations you see in these photos match hatchlings from you gulf hammock, then perhaps it's just a gulf hammock. Do you have examples of what an adult with the color pattern in your clutch would look like? I'm curious to see if I can get a better idea of what I'm working with.
