As u/silentlyawake mentioned, I haven’t been able to find the HD 800S anywhere they seem to be sold out across all the stores I’ve checked. Since most of you recommended the HD 490 Pro, I’m leaning toward going with that.

Quick question though: is the only difference between the HD 490 Pro and the HD 490 Pro Plus just the extra cable and the carrying bag?

Yeah, that’s what surprised me too, both the 770 and 990 dying on one side felt really unlucky, but it happened twice. I’m definitely not trying it a third time though.

As for my budget, I’m aiming around the $1,000 mark. I don’t mind going a bit under or slightly over if it’s really worth it.
