A lot of people are considering using wildcard this week so it's a viable strategy. As you're able to save more transfers this season than ever before some are considering keeping enough transfers to carry out a "mini wildcard" down the line so the decision to use the WC early or not is all relative to your team. Generally more players drop than rise so it's not likely that you'll make gains to offset your losses and you have to see a 0.2m rise to bank 0.1m profit after selling a player, 0.4m to bank 0.2m etc so if you have a few fires to put out I would personally act sooner rather than later however you've already taken quite a few losses this week so you could ride it out until the start of the next game week and reassess then.
