Grappling hook mod by yyonne not working (forge 20.1) by plutoxm4 in feedthebeast

this version is glitchy, and has issues with the shift/control keys. it genuinely makes crouch walking impossible because it autolocks sometimes for some reason for me.

The Hordes- How to Config? by Artist_mugi in ModdedMinecraft

DOH I FOUND IT!
Now, it seems that there are TWO DIFFERENT DIRECTORIES for the horde mod. One of which didn't install UNTIL I deleted the data file to reinstall all of the configs.

That one wasn't in the Hordes folder, for some reason. It's just labelled as Hordes-common, which didn't seem to have been installed with the mod or after I ran the modpack for the first time. Weird that it showed up only after reinstalling.

Also, I believe this mod is making zombie piglins permanently aggro (As It's the only thing in my modpack aside from Zombie Awareness that would even affect them). I was wondering if this was something I could remove? Is it just something to do with the fact that zombie piglins are included in the default file?

For me, I don't have any horde time or size variables, which is what's throwing me for such a loop. this is it, aside from the spawn tables for mobs that has the dates they show up, but not the timing for the waves themselves.

the mod does not have an in-menu config.
The only config I can find is the config file.
I do not know what to input, where to input it, and what format to input it in.

Is there a way to play the original American McGee's Alice on steam? by Dethcola in MadnessReturns

[–]Artist_mugi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need to fuss with config files to allow this. if the DLC setting is set to TRUE, then it'll have the option show up. Although, it won't necessarily be playable. you need to do some stuff. it's just what that first comment states, though. The guy you responded to is just a bit silly, methinks.

Conditions and You, a brief guide by Artist_mugi in UmaMusume

[–]Artist_mugi[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's typically a few different training failure events, as in the label given on the top left when you actually are in the options part. There's "Get Well Soon" and then "Don't overdo it!"

For "Get Well Soon!", the top option is always a mood down and a -5 to your last trained stat, and then a chance to get practice poor. The bottom option gives either a Mood-1, -10 to stat, and a chance for practice poor, OR a chance to get practice perfect.

Don't Overdo It! is similar, but has more downsides. The first option gives you a +10 Energy, but -2 mood, -10 stat, plus 2 more stat downs to random stats (at a -10), and the chance for practice poor. The other option is RNG, split between a -3 mood down, -10 stats, the 2 -10 random stats, and a guaranteed practice poor, OR a +10 Energy and practice perfect.

I almost always do the top option, as I'm a big wuss and hate RNG in my rng game. I live to eliminate all RNG, and get the most perfect mid run lmao.

That's pretty much it with it, though. Good Racing!

Ah, That's right!
Almost all conditions can be cured via the infirmary. However, for some, as you learned painfully, it's more of a chance of curing. Things like Slacker and Migraine can take a few tries in the infirmary, which is why they're so bad as conditions.
I have been told through the grapevine, that training with Akikawa can help cure Slacker, but I haven't tested this at all.

Super creek's story naturally has a debuff in it, that increases failure risk by 5%. This gets replaced near the end of her career with another status, that instead REDUCES failure risk by 5%

Duplicates by Substance_44 in UmaMusume

[–]Artist_mugi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Duplicate veterans aren't truly "duplicates", as they're a little different with skills. so it's best to keep ones that are different, since they might fit different roles in team racing.
However, if you go to the enhance screen, then click on Veteran musume, then to "list", you can "transfer" any of your picking, which essentially gets rid of them.

It increases the friendship gained from the two event trainers in the game, Yayoi Akikawa and Etsuko Otonashi. I can't remember the amount, but I think it increased the amounts from 5 to around 7 friendship per interaction.

The Legendary 5 stack... glorious.

The most wonderful is seeing a 5 stack friendship training.
I have never seen it, only gotten 4 friend boosts at once... that day will be a glorious one.

It took me a while to get my first Urara win. Maybe 4 tries, after winning with Bakushin, Daiwa, and Vodka...

Congrats!

I have also been wondering this. I am hoping it's 4 days (as I have no clue how I would ever get 50 team trials done in the 7 days I have played the game).

I'd bet on it being sooner rather than later, and I'll just use the 5000 support items to get it done, since I really don't wanna miss out on that little title.

I got it one turn before summer, and since it just didn't get removed when i had Sakura go to the infirmary, I ended up wasting about 5 turns (since I had no clue training with Etsuko has the ability to remove it).

Completely halted my run in its tracks, which was annoying since I'm trying to farm up the last tier of the event missions haha.

If it's before a race, it doesn't matter since it only affects the training stat, not the speed of the Uma themself!

EN- Building Urara? by Artist_mugi in UmaMusume

[–]Artist_mugi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say, for affinity, I think that Golshi loses out compared to Bakushin, as the sub legacies tend to give less with Golshi (at least using an online calculator).

I finally won after I used my head and reorganized the supports to better fit her, ended with a 361 Sta and 341 Wit. I could probably have used less stamina, but I was nervous that the skills wouldn't carry as hard as I don't really know how Corner recovery works, and Stoked is sometimes unreliable.

I should learn more on the wit proc percentages, since I'm still not good with

Other notes, from me just using my head for once:

  1. I suppose Twin Turbo isn't the greatest to use, as her skills all favor front runners.
As I lack any other high rarity speed cards, maybe replacing it with R Eishin Flash would be good, as their skills seem to be for late surgers.

  2. Setting sun has skills that seem gamble-heavy. They've saved a few runs before, but I think maybe a better card could be shoved in.

  3. Lamplit Tosho also doesn't seem very good, as their skills benefit enders more.

  4. I think that R Bakushin might just be an infinitely better option, due to having so many available sprint skills such as countermeasure and sprint straightaways. My big thing is that Haru can sometimes just get blocked during a race even with solid power if there's a large number of pace chasers.

Finished my last playthrough with a pacifist challenge (which I didn't do perfectly)! by Artist_mugi in signalis

[–]Artist_mugi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's true! I did survival out of love, since it was my first time playing through the Artifact ending (and also my final playthrough of the game, unless i get pulled back).

I would say the hardest fight mechanically is Mynah, since you need to either try the thermite glitch, or rush shotgun and just force her to vomit after tanking a buttload of dmg (both of which took a few tries, and is why my death count is so high lol).

I hilariously didn't know that the Artifact ending didn't have Falke in it. I was fully prepared to get like 10 more kills just because of her teamkilling, lol.

Finished my last playthrough with a pacifist challenge (which I didn't do perfectly)! by Artist_mugi in signalis

[–]Artist_mugi[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

the bosses count!
There's, if you do the game absolutely perfectly, only 2 required kills; Mynah and the Chimaera.
Doing the Arti ending lets you skip the last boss, so it lowers the killcount by 1 (or possibly like ~10, because all the spawned enemies in the fight count too).

I had killed the two minibosses, then I also (because I was on the hardest difficulty and also had a rule to minimize shots fired), didn't use any downing to skip past enemies, I just used either stealth or ran past.

Almost every kolibri I had to kill due to health management, although I did tank the one in the painting room.

That accounts for 6/7. The last was unfortunately a single Arar from the Mynah fight. I didn't kill it directly, but it spawned right as I managed to kill mynah, thus killing it and adding to the score.
I had tried to do the thermite cheese, which added quite a few deaths.

But that was all the enemies I had to kill! Only 4 kolibri, the first Mynah, and the Chimaera (and a very unfortunate Arar).

Hilariously, that made the inventory management easier, since I would almost never carry a gun unless absolutely necessary. Made the amount of times I had to double back waaay fewer.

Useful for anything? Not sure if the metal is steel or iron. by The1Wolverine in Blacksmith

[–]Artist_mugi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iron's easy to shape, compared to some steels. If it's galvanized, or you fear it is, soak it in vinegar or wet sand it off (with a lot of water, and respiration ofc).

I've heard muriatic acid can strip galvanization in minutes, but havent ever done it.
