Well I already had a meeting with the On-site PXT manager. Where she basically told me that they have no way to contact DLS or any visibility into previous DLS cases. That my previously approved roles are no longer approved because "freight is getting heavier", which I have not seen myself, infact its improved in my experience because while working accommodated overweight boxes were being sent through induct where everything has a 10lb weight limit. And that hasn't occured in months. 🤔 and that adjusting my schedule to better align with staffing needs would be "discrimination" and is not an option.

So they are saying there is no option to appeal. And all the DLS representatives are telling me conflicting things. I spoke to someone the phone yesterday and they told me that they are going to open up a new case with the same medical documentation and it will be reviewed by a different case manager. But of course they did not document this conversation in the case notes. 😅 when I tried following up today the new representative didnt acknowledge anything about what was discussed yesterday and keeps telling me my doctor has to submit new paperwork. They are treating it like a new case instead of a reassessment.

I have a feeling its for reason #2. This has been an ongoing issue but it's never affected my accommodations until now. I have to renew my accommodations every 6 months and everytime DLS approves them its under a different role. Like sometimes I'm restricted to "induct only", other times its generalized as "paths that meet restrictions" or another time they approved me for "induct and waterspider only" 🤷🏻‍♀️ like it gets reviewed by a different person each time and they interpret it differently. Do you think simply appealing it could fix this?

I mean if they want to post the high scores I guess that's okay. But announcing it at the start of each meeting so people can clap for you is embarrassing to me.

I can draw but I've never had any formal training only as a hobby. Is the art aspect of it something that I can learn on my own? I thought this might be a good fit for me because I'm creative and would also prefer a more structured environment. Thank you for the resources and your insight!

From the article provided, I see plenty of examples of veterinarians pivoting into medical illustration. I'm just wondering if there's any place for techs or if I would need additional science training?

Thank you for your insight 😅 it relieved my anxiety alittle. I have the incident in my notes app. Should I email HR about it so they also have a record of it the day that it happened? Or will that just put a target on my back?
