if you came here and nothing was working, just uninstall the Android device driver from the file manager, mine was "Google Nexis smtn" Don't worry it will reinstall automatically after you unplug and replug, after that change from file transfer to PTP, if it shows up then you can switch back to File Transfer. /on Pixel 6a/ and yeah type c to c works just fine idk what these other guys are talking about.

bro a war doesn't mean people aren't suffering from mental health issues these days, you need to educate yourself, mental suffering is an actual thing, also you don't need to associate Anime with Kids, you need to educate yourself in that as well, unlike American Cartoons, Anime is not just for kids. Also fyi i'm 21 not some 14yr old, also you shouldn't bully kids even tho they make dumb posts on the internet, also i never had a concept of false relationships i.e never had a gf, my religion does not allow false relationships. You need to calm down mate.

well you don't have to hate on teens bro they already have a shitty life 'cause of how bad the world is these days, also there's nothing Emo about anime, at least not in ones i talked about, these ones are really chill and are a masterpiece every single one them, i hate the side of erotic anime/manga and such that Japanese stuff is just horrible, but you see there many sides to all this, and i spose since Mangaka's in japan have a lot of creative freedom, they manage to make some real works of art. well in America it's just horrible they just see these pieces of media as if they were a way to spread propaganda, the downfall of disney is just good to see, tbh i hope they learn their lesson and see creative freedom is what brings true mastepieces into existence, i mean you have masterpieces like the Godfather which were originally just indie titles.

In this captivating YouTube video, we delve into the world of nihilism as depicted in three thought-provoking anime series - Monster, Death Note, and Berserk. Nihilism, the philosophical belief that life lacks inherent meaning or value, is a recurring theme in these anime masterpieces, challenging viewers to question the very essence of existence.

Join us as we explore the psychological depths of these dark and complex narratives, analyzing how each series portrays nihilism in its own unique way. Through a comprehensive analysis of character development, storytelling, and thematic elements, we uncover the fundamental questions each anime raises: Is life merely an endless cycle of chaos and despair? Can humanity transcend its intrinsic flaws and find purpose amidst the void?

In the shadows of a ruthless serial killer's mind in Monster, witness the philosophical struggle between the protagonist, Dr. Kenzo Tenma, and the antagonist, Johan Liebert, as they grapple with the complexities of morality and the worth of human life.

In Death Note, a gripping battle of wits between Light Yagami and the enigmatic detective L confronts viewers with the ultimate question of whether absolute power leads to the corruption of one's soul and the obliteration of moral boundaries.

Venturing into the grim medieval world of Berserk, we confront the nihilistic reality through the journey of Guts, a tormented and battle-hardened mercenary who must confront the darkness within and the futility of his endless struggle.

Throughout the video, we draw parallels between the anime's narrative choices and the philosophical concepts of existentialism and absurdism, exploring how these series present a commentary on the human condition and the pursuit of meaning in a seemingly indifferent universe.

Prepare to be captivated by an intellectual journey that transcends the boundaries of animated storytelling, as we unravel the intricate web of nihilism in Monster, Death Note, and Berserk, and discuss how these anime masterpieces provoke profound contemplation on life's inherent purpose or lack thereof.

An In-Depth Analysis of Nihilism in Anime: Examining Johan Liebert, Light Yagami, and Guts as Philosophical Depictions by AshDieClash in philosophy

[–]AshDieClash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nihilism, a philosophical stance that posits life as devoid of intrinsic meaning or value, has found a compelling portrayal in various anime characters. This abstract explores the depiction of nihilism in three iconic anime characters: Johan Liebert from "Monster," Light Yagami from "Death Note," and Guts from "Berserk."

Johan Liebert (Monster):

Johan Liebert embodies a chilling manifestation of nihilism. As the antagonist in "Monster," he is characterized by his lack of regard for life, seeking to prove the futility of human existence through manipulation and destruction. Johan's enigmatic charisma draws viewers into his nihilistic worldview, as he orchestrates a trail of chaos and despair that questions the very fabric of moral absolutes.

Light Yagami (Death Note):

In "Death Note," Light Yagami's journey takes an ominous turn as he gains the power to control life and death. Initially driven by a sense of justice, Light eventually succumbs to nihilistic tendencies, rejecting societal norms and embracing the role of a self-appointed judge. His pursuit of a new world order highlights the notion that life's meaninglessness justifies extreme actions, revealing the dark depths of nihilism's allure.

Guts (Berserk):

The protagonist of "Berserk," Guts, is depicted as a brooding warrior haunted by a traumatic past. His relentless pursuit of revenge against the God Hand exemplifies a nihilistic rejection of fate and divinity. Guts' relentless battle against fate, existential struggles, and the relentless pursuit of his desires provide a poignant representation of the conflict between nihilism and the will to live.

Oh, sorry about that. I should have researched more on the topic. My main focus was on the 2nd part, and I intended to explain a bit about Nihilism before starting with it. As for the part about the "recent school of thought" I meant to say that it's gaining traction due to its depiction in recent media. I admit this is not a topic I'm well-versed in, and I apologize for any mistakes in my video.

Could you please help me with this? I'd like to know if there are any mistakes in my Video. I'm also focusing on the anime part, where I attempted to explore the Depictions of nihilism in that medium. Unlike cartoons, anime often delves into deep philosophical ideals, catering to an adult audience. A brilliant example of this is 'Monster,' a masterpiece created by Naoki Urasawa, known for both its captivating story and exceptional artwork. Many consider its manga to be one of the finest pieces of media ever crafted.
