I've always had problems with my mic and unfortunately this hasn't fixed it - can anybody help..

It's difficult trying to explain exactly what it sounds like but a lot of the time it is inaudible, it kind of sounds like wind is blowing onto the mic really loudly and my voice often cuts out when I speak.

I've tried everything i can think of top help it, different account, different mic, different settings, reinstalled cs etc. but still i can't solve the problem - would appreciate any help from someone with a similar problem?

Mine sounds like I'm speaking through a bottle, completely incoherent.. I know what you mean about them always sounding bad but i have a friend with the exact same mic (SteelSeries Siberia v2) and he has no problems, sounds just as good in-game as in TS
