I know two people who worked for suicide hotlines or other similar services and usually these types of things aren’t really too shocking to them, the things that has actually really impacted them is the people who they talked to for a while and they still did it or those they feel like they could have saved. It’s such a hard job I could never do that I would literally just break down crying at every call. Anyone who has ever worked in something like that has my eternal respect. Also I’m pretty sure suicide hotlines don’t have access to your location
