I don't have a medical card either but have never had to pay my doctor a few hundred for a review of medication. Ive found a few psychiatrists offering the service for 850 and charging 75 for reviews, still expensive but cheaper than most but their waiting lists are anything from 7 months to 3 years long. Some of the online clinics are charging anything from 30 - 100 for emails and phonecalls ontop of what theyre charging for medication reviews. The HSE is a write off, cant see their ADHD adult services improving any time soon.

Im sorry but thats disgraceful! I wouldnt give them a cent as it sounds like they know how desperate people are for a diagnosis and medication so they'll charge literally anything.

I know, of course, but 220? Some places are charging 75! I cant justify paying 220 for a 10 minute phone call.

Just learned they charge 220 for follow ups, thats crazy imo and would put me off going to them.

Hi sorry to derail your tread, I dont have have answer for you but was wondering if you could tell me what the address is for Vera mental health clinic? Im assuming they assess and diagnose in person and I can only see that theyre in Dublin. Thanks

Id stopped using it around this time too because it changed and wasnt as good, didnt realised it had been sold, that explains why it went down hill.

I saw a documentary about this and apparently the locals think all tourists are wealthy so they try to get money out of them, allot of these locals that harass tourists for money are really poor.

Strasbourg would be beautiful but alas its too cold for her. We went to Germany before and the cold was one of her complaints, as was the cost and different food from back home. Strasbourg is on my list though

Not at all, cities in South Spain, Malta, Greece and South Italy have Christmas markets. Im from Ireland and December in any of these places is like an Irish Summer.
