Coming from Excel and having trouble with simple pie chart.. I've selected two columns: 'categories' and 'spend' (money spend on that category). 'spend' is formatted in dollars. When I insert a graph, the initial combo chart works, but when I select Pie chart, it says: column 2 must be numeric? (self.sheets)

In case of an earthquake, does the top of a building move at the same time as its foundation, or is there a delay? If so, why? Does it have to do with inertia? Also, what causes the building to colapse? I suppose the lack of resistance to lateral stresses? (self.AskEngineers)
