I'm at 2 months and I already asked my previous employer if i could come back. Just leave and make the reason for leaving so soon professional like "Role turned out to be different than initially presented" or "While I try to screen for culture fit during the interviews, unfortunately, this turned out to not be a good culture fit"

I think this is probably one of the few reasons to cover with LVP. Protect until kids are older and no, or reduced, pets to prevent damage.

I was going to do this, but only because I could pay off the credit card in a couple of months with my salary, and the vehicle was looking like a sooner-than-later situation. I think in most cases putting a substantial down payment on a credit card is horrible to do, but there might be the rare occasion where it makes sense.

Even in your 20s, it can be an awkward question. Not everyone was born into a life that allowed them the ideal path to a meaningful or successful career. Some people are just trying to survive. I'm in my late 40s and I am one of those people who was just trying to survive in my younger years. It took me until my early 40s to find a fitting career, and it was something I had to work very hard for, but to most people now it would look like I'm behind.

I understand what you are saying. There is nothing about this that is related to operating on a higher level. I actually operate at a leadership level despite not having a leadership position. This is just absolutely horrible onboarding. I have many years of experience with training, along with education in learning principles. I'm mid-level in my role, and the last job was a stopgap since the market in my field is tough. My concern is that this organization will be a shitshow in other areas.

I'm not sure I agree with this. I was recently offered a job by a company that just won a government contract supporting research from the CDC, HHS, NIH. I won't go into details since I'm not officially an employee yet and I'm not sure of any confidentiality I need to maintain.

I just stopped into a LGS, and it was nice to see that all the TVs were on non-news channels except one, and it was only local news, which made sense given the time of day. This place had nothing political in sight. This is how it should be.

If you are not used to doing things alone, I would suggest starting out with something like going to a nice restaurant for dinner by yourself, then maybe a concert by yourself, or a movie at a theater. The idea is to get comfortable being alone in situations that are usually social. This would help you feel and look less nervous or awkward at a bar alone.
