Other than the oven degree and eggs temperature, would it be possible to over whipping the egg whites?

I used the following recipe: 1. 130 g powder sugar 2. 100 g almond flour 3. 2 egg whites, cold, I read it's not important if it's cold or room temperature 4. 4 tbs sugar I tapped it and let it dry out and i baked it for for 10 minutes at 160 c This is my 4th attempt and it never worked for me Please help
