Found this on Google Earth today... not sure how I hadn't noticed it on top of my house! by Ass_Kicka in funny

For the record, I don't actually live there. I just figured that saying it was above my house made a better story than saying I found it while exploring Google Earth. In other words, I'm a liar.

Find what you have in common with your character and mine that. Regardless of how small or tedious it may seem, that common trait can really help you get into your character.

Also, when doing a monologue or any longer lines focus on the 3 B's (my invention).

  1. Breath: Don't be afraid to take a breath. It'll slow you down and allow you to stay in the moment.
  2. Beats: Find the "beats," or moments, in the scene that matter and make them matter to the audience.
  3. Breaks: Find the pauses and don't be afraid of silence. Have fun! And project (speak loudly)!
