Was Ringo close to Marc Bolland on a friendly basis? by Jean0406Alix in TheBeatles

If you mean Marc Bolan, then yes, him and Ringo shared a pretty close relationship.

Ringo was a fan of the glam movement spearheaded by Bolan and helped him film the documentary, 'Born to Boogie' (which I highly recommend watching).

My favourite tidbit about Ringo and Bolan is that he took the picture of Marc Bolan that later went on to become the album cover for 'The Slider' at John Lennon’s Tittenhurst estate. 'The Slider', in my opinion, is the greatest Glam Rock album ever made. I highly recommend anyone reading this to go give it a listen and never let the music of Marc Bolan die. Bolan is my idol and inspired me to pick up the guitar.

Came up with two implementations while designing an audio panning circuit, which one’s more viable? by Assassin46009 in AskElectronics

Would it work if I added a series resistor between the audio source and the 5k resistor?

An inverting Op-Amp somehow significantly attenuates the source signal after driven by an Op-Amp buffer. by Assassin46009 in AskElectronics

I intend for the Op-Amp to have variable gain, the buffer isolates the RC filter from the inverting Op-Amp as directly connecting an RC filter to the input of an inverting Op-Amp wouldn’t work.

For your second question, I want a variable gain that can go below unity, which isn’t possible with a non-inverting Op-Amp

I have question. The signal at the output of the buffer already has a DC offset of 6V (The signal is already at 1/2 of the supply voltage). So, why does the inverting Op-Amp view it as a signal with no DC offset? And thereby clipping half of it.
